I feel like this is the most genuine help I've ever gotten. American psychiatrists do not genuinely want to see their clients get better which is why I've always avoided having to see one. This man really wants to help and helps he's serious and gets to the point.
Once I used one of the techniques you mentioned. I starred into my own eyes' reflection for long minutes. My eyes started to expel such thoughts, better said emotions that disturbed me in my deepest instinctive level and that otherwise I would never experience in my everyday life. This was the moment when I realised how important mental and spiritual hygiene is. I think the 'BLACK DOT TECHNIQUE' is the one that they should market and not stress pills, risks and side effects in the small boxes.
Thanks for the lovely video. I've been using meditation with my daughter to help her get to sleep for many years now. I make up new ones incorporating her favourites places, foods, animals and people and try and include the five senses. I often ask her to imagine a loving presence around her. It works so well and is such a lovely way to drift off to sleep.
What an amazing talk! Sometimes we as amateurs do keep doing things without knowing what they mean. I am hindu and It is very true that I do gage constantly at Mother God's image(Ambal) I definitely feel it is speaking to me and a goodness guiding light as I am self before her.
I recall doing this a lot as a child. I would go into a staring trance and it felt so good. My eyes used to feel like they were going to water, but i would overcome it quite easily. I remember I would always hear a buzzing noise in my ears too. I loved it, it would happen in class, when i was at home, I could do it anywhere, I didn't need a picture with a dot or anything to concentrate on, it would just happen. People around me would notice and wave their hands in front of my eyes trying to break my trance. I didn't ever want to come out of it, it was so nice and so peaceful. I miss doing it, I'm not sure I can do it anymore but I am going to try.
+Tracey Mctreacle yes u still can do it .I rediscovered it while travelling in the train and it was very rewarding. So please do it and reconnect to ur self.
all actions have reactions, there are many books on what sort of actions you can make to yeild the reactions that meditaion is pushing towards one of my favorite is Be Here Now- Ram Dass
i learn the circle when i was a kid, no blinking, and did work. but i always been a very distracted person and i lost allot of my energy into the trivial, the world of emotional obsessive, childish in certain times, and in another frustration, resentment, anger, then the years of smoking pot for years, then all those thoughts of my past, memories that bring only sadness and depression, then my ex left me and became worst for years. now i just woke up, and feel like i was in comma for years.but..
I know what you're talking about. Same thing happened to me few minutes ago. I was trying this and then it started to get dark you could see energy waves moving. I haven't got past this but in time, I will and I'll enter the state with good feelings.
I have one question but first of all this is one of the most awesome technique to isolate mind and connect innerself. I started meditating last night, but i love mind games and exercises. I started to see my dot move in different slow pastes on different sides and there is one point where it formed a tunel and than blanked out, for a few seconds i whited it out all my room, furnitures, door even the dot. Is this a good sign? Can someone help here? Much appreciated :)
I would like to ask if we took a currency note and we did this practice will it help us in our finance all brothers and sisters and guru acharia please share some ideas with me thank you.
In meditation all physical and mental activity must stop, the eyes are the windows to the soul therefore the eyes should be closed. The withdrawal of sensory perception is needed to enter a deep meditation, which ultimately leads to the consciousnes to use the astral vehicle. conscious sleep, is the ultimate goal of meditation. where as sleep is unconcious meditation.
+Daniel D'amato Very true. But i would argue that while in a trance gaze, there is little to no sensory perception coming in. If it wasn't a gaze then yes other sensory stimuli could enter. I recommend trying this method i used it before i found the video and it took me to my deepest meditation yet. It really throws one into a mindless state of being within 1-2 minutes
@ericnourani Just the principles of schools increase fear. What is the main moto of secondry schools especially? You will not succeed unless you have passed most of your gcse's! If thats not inducing fear i do not know what is. But the question is succeeding at what? Material success or gain..! Do your homework, excuse the pun ^^

Thanks a lot of
I think meditation is often argued to be none of those things. Merely an act of stepping down from constant overstimulation.
@shireenaash No, it's like riding a bike. But, a daily session will be more
beneficial.

If you are starting meditation, should you practise something else before you start practising trataka?
i cnt concentrate n my studies... while reading or doing homework thoughts attack my mind... i hope dis technique helps me.
you can also try with binaural beats, it really helped me with concentration. you can find a lot of examples on youtube :)

Guruji.. Thank u ...Koti pranam....what if we blink .....is it ok....if it just happens....will it cause destruction
does it cause any harm if my meditation is interrupted?

This man puts me to sleep.
oops I am sorry about the wrong spelling of the guru.
hi
I was put on pills for meditating as a child.
I DON'T SEE ANYBODY APPRECIATING HINDUISM for giving you such a knowledge.
You eat the fruits from this tree and don't water it?
