Now I want to know what you did underneath; Axles? Did you rebuild the AMC 20 and Dana 30? Lockers? I'm torn between new ECGS Dana 44's with Tom Woods Drive Shafts, or just rebuilding what I have with G2 or Alloy USA and D-lockers.
I owned a 78 cj 5. 3 speed on the floor. No heat. High beams on the floor. My gas gauge was broken. Had a magnet on the dash wit a card. I figured 140 miles a tank a gas. So I filled up the tank and added 140 to the current miles. Here’s the kicker. My great grandfather bought the Jeep when I was born. So for 18 years that Jeep was a part of my life. I miss the spare tire on the passenger side. I wish they did that
Most of these rigs are turning out great. Now, I am a MOPAR guy practicaly from birth. The Lil' Red Express tribute, I really did not like. The stacks they used are too small of a diameter, no heat shields. The wood panel kit looks spectacular! Other than that, it is a fitting tribute...
@@MrRebar15 it is the area code for the motor city; Detroit, Michigan where every major American made car. (I.E. Dodge, Ford, and General Motors) had their factories for the better part of a century. It's also where Danny (the count) grew up.
The interactions just pulls you in...great work👍👍👍
Love this Jeep. Drive it to work all week and blast the trails on the weekend. Great job.
Wiring now that's the key right there - I had to go with the full harness kit from Painless Performance on my CJ5 with AMC 360.

Take light off the hood, if it’s not hooked up.
So I'm curious as to if Horny Mike as made any progress on the Batmobile.
They got rid of the iconic Jeep tailights!
