His hands are so close to his hip at impact it’s unreal. He dives in body first on the down swing then shoots out his right pocket at impact. So cool to watch a really good unique swing!
Thanks for the Video clip! Sorry for butting in, I would appreciate your opinion. Have you ever tried - Paneevelyn Swinging Clubsman (just google it)? It is a great one of a kind guide for revealing an effortless golf swing technique without the hard work. Ive heard some extraordinary things about it and my buddy after many years got amazing results with it.
Why can this guy still play in his 40s with 65 degrees of shoulder turn at the top of the backswing? Jim gets the club very light in the takeaway which allows for great club head speed!
Since he was a kid. He had offers from college coaches that wanted to change it and his dad refused to allow him to go to those schools and rightfully so.
Not an elegant swing but very efficient obviously. He seems to carry the club to the top position and save all the energy of rotating the whole torso. It must take a very flexible and unique set of mechanics to do this. It is an ugly swing though.
Two different schools of thought: you can be like Rory and always tweaking things to perfect your form, or be like Furyk and just master the same technique over millions of swings.

Great post,
One of the most accurate swings in history of the game. Also grinds harder than most!
This is the most athletic golf swing ever. Just awesome to watch.
You the most unathletic. Look at Rory instead.
Beautiful swing. Great posture throughout.
Gotta love this swing

He pulls the hands back close to the hip in the downswing. Also has a squat like Nelson.

30 Second Golf Lessons hate to break it you but he's in his 50s
Great video
Reason why he hits 59s and 58s.. he is very close to a single axis of rotation. For example Mickelson has about a 30 degree spine angle change.
Thanks
In the takeaway the club never gets behind him, interesting.

In this clip his feet appear less than shoulder width apart. Like for a 8 iron.
Who gives a crap what it looks like. The ball goes far and straight. Once I figured this out, golf became way more fun.
No lie I swing very similar to him lol
Jesus look how open he is at impact
Makes you wonder how that swing came to be. I doubt he always swung like that.

Very similar to Matt Wolff.
matt wolff very similar to jim furyk

There is not right way. You can also be like couples or daly who don't want to think at all. It's a personal journey.
one of the ugliest swings but also the most accurate and efficient one in golf history. Unbelievable
