I am one of the many Bubba fans who miss him on the PGA tour...his unique style and his ability to shape shots drastically in both directions is amazing...fun to watch!
He's unorthodox in the respect that he plays a large curve on many of his shots but his club at the top of his backswing is in pretty much perfect position because it points straight at the target and is neutral. That means he can move it any way he wants with his setup and manipulating his hands at impact. On top of that he's incredibly long. It's a huge advantage to be able to work the ball like that because it greatly increases your odd of success on any shot. The hardest ball to hit is a dead straight shot.
Nice to hear ,that Bubba is truly natural, as in never had a lesson. Absolutely amazing 👍👊. Wish my game had same results! Also he's a decent guy when all said and done. Well done Sir🤗
Great vid, i really enjoyed it, and I'm a huge Bubba fan, but my vote for most unorthodox golfer of all time is Moe Norman. They are both legends though.
Moe is what you get when you leverage the full mental power of autism to build a golf swing. If he could've handled the "people" side of professional golf, his name would be up there with Nicklaus, Palmer, and Snead.
Just a couple of weeks ago, I was wondering where Bubba had gone. I will read in the paper who won a LIV event, but that's it. I had a suspicion that's where he was, and now I know. I truley thought he had retired young. It's too bad all of his success came before shot tracers were common. He is a brilliant shot maker who can manipulate the modern ball better than anybody barring Tiger. It would be cool if LIV and the PGA tour can work out their differences as there are other players I miss watching, i.e., Louis Ousthasen, sorry for the spelling. To me, he has the best tempo of any golfer in the world now and going back many generations.
I don’t know the answer but im guessing transfer rule qt that time - must sit out a year and possibly the red shirt rule which essentially allows for a “training year”.
Well I don’t know the months they are born but I was the youngest kid in my school because of my birthday some kids were a full year older then me my wife who was in the same grade as me was 10 months older then me I was born sep 1996 and she was born nov 1995 so it might be one of those situations idk🤷♂️
The comments on Watsons Oh oh oh video have been turned off. I'm not surprised. So here goes...YUK YUK YUK to Oh Oh Oh. Its crap. Stick to golf boys. 😅😅😅😅😅
He means on a given shot he can eliminate one side by making sure it'll right (hook) or making sure it'll go left (slice) thus assuring a shot has a one way miss when needed
@@danielcorrigan6998 He’s good at shaping the ball so the miss will mostly likely be over doing it rather than pulling or pushing it. But he prefers a draw with the irons and a fade with the longer clubs. Generally irons are easier to draw than fade and driver is easier to fade than draw.
I think it should be "most unorthodox PROFESSIONAL golfer", as I know many many many more much unorthodox players...an example...i hate playing without a joint in my mouth and I can't stand when people be quiet when others shoot....cheer me on or boo me, but I find the silence to be more distracting
Live here in Milton/Pensacola area, they Love Bubba here. He is a unique awesome individual that is to be admired. Don’t know him personally(wish I did) but seems like a “Real” good dude!

Yeah so he is on LIV, and you can watch that for free. For at last, anyone can watch him play.
5:01 The fact that he ticked off the French makes me like him even more.
Yep
No one likes the French for good reason

Best documentaries on RUclips. This channel needs to blow up
Yes yes yes it really does!!!!!!!!
Your account is 11 years old. You should know by now this isn’t true.
Crazy it's been another year and still under 15k subs. It's going to be a rocket ship when it finally pops!
I don't even golf but I love watching these documentaries. Fantastically put together
Great documentary. Awesome job, yet again, Mitchell!
I've seen Bubba play in person a few times, and he's the most entertaining golfer out there to watch.
I really enjoyed watching Bubba play ! I do miss seeing him play , wish he was still on tour !Just like I enjoyed watching Phil and Fred Couples.
What a tremendous documentary!
Great vid!! Always been a Bubba fan but have to admit I learned some stuff that makes me appreciate Bubba even more now.
Great vid, i really enjoyed it, and I'm a huge Bubba fan, but my vote for most unorthodox golfer of all time is Moe Norman. They are both legends though.
...Norman a bit more so
Unorthodox to everyone except Moe Norman. Straight, pure, and beyond consistent. Amazing.

Please do one of these brilliant documentaries on Ernie Els I feel like he doesn't get enough credit
Bubba is Awesome
Everyone is awe struck
Thank you so much for finally doing bubba🙏
I love this man. I'll never forget the reactions of my step dad and I when he hit that monster shot in the Masters.
Me and my brother were wat going together and scared my mom when we started cheering
A fan favorite for sure. Tops the list of least liked by touring pros.
Love Bubba! Seems like there are a few courses he excels at more than others i.e. Augusta, Riviera, TPC River Highlands.
Annnnnddddd subscribed. Good job!
how does this not have a million views already
Bubba is a legend.
Another great doc!
can you test to change that lst one with max and curve it to the green?
luv bubba❤❤❤⛳ ⛳ ⛳
Nice work enjoyed it

He learned the correct grip and was ready for competing
God damn wish I could do that 😂😂
Looks like he played ping eye 2s back in the day.
One of my two favorite golfers to watch. The other one is Fred Couples. Go figure.
Check out the swing of Irishman, Jimmy Bruen!
What does “two fousand and firteen” mean?
He’s by far my fav player. The style of play and his on/off the course personality. Bubba aka THE GOAT 🐐
How can you call a two time major winner a goat?
ive met him and his son
Great vid
Hahaha wtf that video of him slapping Ricky is my video lmaooo
That swing with him in the diaper is so pure
Bubba is a lefty
With God, Bubba
Just a curious question? How did him and Boo play on the same team? Boo is 6 years older...

Scotty Scheffler has the most unorthodox swing ever
I gotta find Bubba.
Go Dawgs
Love Bubba love LIV
He is on the tour he needs to be on now. Glad he Joined LIV
That would be mr Furik

I beg to differ, Happy Gilmore made that shot no more then an hour ago
Great biography except for the clip of Ellen….
It’s too bad after a career high his father still looked down on him
👏🏽
He is unorthodox but the most is by far John Daly
But a slice and a draw miss opposite, don’t they?

Lee Trevino.
Unorthodox
Thank you 😂
Three words. Driver, driver, putter. Too bad the blood tour took him away.
Moe Norman.
Nope. He most certainly is not the most unorthodox golfer of all time. Not even close.
2 words. Moe Norman.
Wow I always thought he was Tom Watson son! I guess I never looked into it.
Bubba, Daly, Nicklaus and me. The dream 4
Good documentary, but hardly the most unorthodox golfer. You might need a little history lesson. Check out Moe Norman.

His fah-vuh
Moe Norman by a mile, not Bubba
I've seen Bubba ply in person a few times. Hands down, he's definitely the most entertaining golfer to watch.
Not even close. Moe Norman has him beat for most unorthodox.
Um, Bubba was voted the biggest asshole on tour every year he played, so you trying to play him up like a stand up likable guy is complete bullshit.
sound jealous
Seems like a bit of a twt to me
Why don't you report on the true character and nature of Watson? Thumbs down for you!
LIV tour has changed golf for the better.
Hell no
Is this the pink guy ?
Cringeworthy
So now Bubba plays golf for terrorists
He plays for the CIA!?
@@dildobaggins8987 Either way he sold his soul to the devil
Pga plays for "terrorists" too with them merging lolol what's your point?
and the US government sells them weapons, and Joe Biden fist bumps MBS

I cant stand Bubba. Dudes always complaining
@antoniogamito8987 yea. About him.
@@slayerde440 can't argue with hypocrites, they'll always be right and wrong at the same time 🤣

Sounds like you're the one complaining.
@@coobay4786 sounds like one complaint.
He’s a pos but I respect his talent and if he didn’t sell out to LIV that’s big too
Sellout
He farts a lot
Maybe learn to spell first... before using "big words"?!?

He's the golfing Ron Swanson. Not a fan of Europe.
Looks like LIV was a smart choice, huh…
