first part of this video, i still cant believe its so expensive to get a metal stick, a tiny ball & go to a golf course that filled with gods grass, to hit a ball in a small hole
I think its interesting how the PGA and LIV don't limit club technology. If you look at baseball for instance MLB players are only allowed to use wooden bats, if they could use aluminum bats like college players do it would be a home run fest every game.
And while everyone knows how far back Golf goes in Scotland, most people don't know how quickly they brought it to the colonies. The first record of Golf being play in what is now the United States was in the 1560's.
850 million.. I never heard that, to be honest at that point I dont think it would have mattered what my views are, that is too much money to turn down..
Why is there no mention other than Mary, Queen of Scots of women players in “The Entire History of Golf” when it became a “game for the masses”? Babe Didrikson Zaharias? Edith Cummings? Believe it or not, women are part of the “entire history” of golf too.
The Entire History of Golf.... except for the history before where you started. Sounds like the game of golf was already invented at the beginning of your story.
The PGA is an organization of professional golfers (teaching pros etc.) and is different than the USGA which is a more formal, rules oriented organization. The PGA TOUR is a separate entity that uses a charitable foundation status to keep prize money such as to ensure compliance from the golfers on tour. It was created by Jack Nicklaus to improve prize pools. He co-opted Arnold Palmer into supporting it "for the good of the game" and since then, only LIV has challenged the paradigm. LIV is better in almost every way.

What a faceless niche🔥🔥
Love the video but the McLroy glazing is insane
Do you have an email I could reach out to?
With LIV everyone got paid and the guys that stayed with PGA were already at the top and didn’t need more money
Yeah. Guys like Koepka, Smith, Rahm, Dechambeau, Mickelson weren't at the top and needed more money
I think it would've been better to keep the chapters here as separate videos and take a deeper dive into them. Great video otherwise.
Well done. Just wonder how far top players would shot ball with 1300s equiment... Maybe 150 yards or so, just my guess.
Rory seems like he will hate on the poor people trying to play golf. He is not a loving person.
How did you miss Bobby Jones?
Were nike even around in 1850 ?
Did Nike pay you to put its logo on "1850 ball"?
I wish
What part is that at

It's not LIV Golf that tried to "split the sport", it was the PGA who originally banned LIV Golf players, not the other way around
The old ball looks like it has a Nike swoosh on it. I’m suspicious. 🤔
You caught us 🥺
Where at

Also maybe adjust inflation rates before comparing £1 back then and millions today
enjoyed video but felt it was lazy to not put the accounted values for inflation and comparing it to todays money without the adjustment .
I don’t understand how they can wear long sleeve suits and layers of clothes like that in the sun
Wow
Imagine turning down 850M to play a game
Yeahh, can’t say I would lol
I couldn’t imagine turning down $20 to play a game.
iS THIS ai?
huh idk, well put together though.
No :)
@@FinalPutt7Exactly the response AI would give
@@JayBigDadyCy uh oh

He left out the bad parts.
Which are??
The Entire History of Golf.... except for the history before where you started. Sounds like the game of golf was already invented at the beginning of your story.
Unfortunately there’s nothing on record for the first person in history to hit a ball with a stick, sorry ):
Fact Check in Thumbnail image: Golf ball of 1850 has Nike logo. But Nike was founded in 1960s. How?
🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
You might be the smartest person on the planet. They need to study your brain. Thank you.
A “history” of golf. Lol.
What?
They had nike goose feather balls way back then? 🙄
Did you really need to bring up liv? That's not golf. The only reason to play just 54 holes is to appeal to those with a short attention span.
Like everything. If you stop giving it attention, it will go away. If it wasn't a threat to the PGA then no one would be even talking about it.
It's quite literally golf. They aren't out there playing kickball.
You mean “The Entire History of European Golf” right? As golf was recorded in China in the Nantang dynasty five centuries before the Scots.
