Today, we are exploring the beautiful Cumbrian town, Bowness-on-Windermere (The Lake District). With Lake Windermere being England's largest and most notorious lakes, Bowness-on-Windermere is a staple tourist location when visiting Cumbria - we loved capturing this one on camera!

this is why i love england: it's on a human scale. lake windermere, your largest lake, is 14.73 square km. canada is on prehistoric mammoth scale. our largest lake (not including any of the great lakes, which are shared with the u.s.) is great bear lake, with an area of 31,328 square km. thank you for another very lovely walks. :)
