Pleased to say you now have regular followers from here in the Phillipines. Love the music and getting to see around the North West. We will be moving there soon and will bimble
Another great Bimble our Keiron . Going up in the world . Posh pasty instead of a meal deals dinner . Keep it up . Get Molly one of those kiddy bike seats . She's not big enough to self balance on the crossbar . Ie a Crossor
What a lovely watch. I worked in Ambleside and Langdale from about 1975 to 1985, so it brought back memories. The house on Belle Isle is unusual in that it is round. Wray Castle used to be a college for nautical navigation. It is tautology to say "Lake Windermere". it's like saying Lake Winderlake. As you say there is only one lake in the Lake District. All the others are '-meres' or 'waters'. Loved the car that drove straight in front of you to turn left as you entered Bowness. Glad to see Rastellis Pizza place in Bowness is still operating; used to be the best pizzas ever. It's nice to have old memories relived, all the way from New Zealand.
I love some of the names. Cockermouth; Bedworth; those hills in the western lakes, Great Cockup, Little Cockup and Breasty Haw, Ugly (imagines being in the Women's Institute) and up in Orkney is Twatt!! And now you introduce us to Cockshott Point!!
What a cracking -bimble- (or is it Bimble? Yeah Bimble) Bimble. I've never seen that area as quiet as you found it and your video contained so many elements which made it even more enjoyable: tranquility; birdsong; the sounds of ripples lapping the shore and of steel grating on concrete as the ferry docked 😉. Thanks for keeping me smiling. Cheers 👍🏼
Loved this. Im at Bowness quite a lot. 😊 Work in Warri. Ive watched most of your vlogs/bimbles now. They are great. Views, history humour and your catchy music, love it. Xx
Brought back some distant memories from 1979. School geography field trip. Learnt more from your video than i did on the whole 5 day trip. Great to see you out and about Dad. Peace-love-fatherhood.🚲☕🍼
I live locally, and I don't think I've ever seen so little traffic driving through Windermere, along with so few people..... is this 5am or something? I hate to disappoint, but it isn't called *Lake* Windermere. It's just Windermere, the same as the town......
