I spent 4 hours in my woods yesterday. Alone with only me and my thoughts. I knew I was out there for a while but didn’t even realize the time until I came in. The peace I had out there I hope to have everyday going forward
It’s a gorgeous little house. Wood is definitely a priority I would chop and stack enough for a whole year when weather warms up. I guess it leaves time to think, relax, reminisce. A good book, maybe music, hot chocolate, cookies. I love how you can open up those windows. Glorious

You can get one of those wind-up-to charge mini radios that have several bands on them- that way you could possibly get the weather reports ,or short-wave even?? It's nice &cozy in your little hut, but kind of lonley without a pup to cuddle with.😊

My X lived in a rickety little cabin in the coastal redwoods. Very rustic. No running water but there was electric. Cast iron stove kept it warm. I sure miss it now. There were giant yellow banana slugs that would come out and eat the dogs food. The dog would occasioanlly bring back a deer head to play with. Not sure where it was getting those heads. Should have appreciated it more back then.....
