Guys, Samsung somehow managed to fix this bug with their new software update. They vanished the stop button from running services of themes. So if you didn't update your software yet, just keep in mind that once you update your software you'll lose it. i updated my software without being aware of this... Now I'm also searching for a new solution, i will upload as soon as I get something. Otherwise you'll need to root your device to make custom themes. Thank you guys. And love you ❤️

It’s always good to test theme while it is on trial version to see any problem with installation 4) If everything is fine changen your theme and with Root explorer or other puissant Files explorer, move the file json from data/overlays/jsonfiles/trialjson into userjson. 5) Then wait for the toast “installation finish” 6) Now apply and test. 7) For MM delete preferences folder in data/overlays 8) Reboot your device (don’t worry the folder preferences will be created after reboot) 9) Apply theme

This still works on Oreo to but you have to do it in a different way than in the video. Just download BK Manager or any other package disabler. Look in Google play. After installing the package disabler go to the Samsung store and choose your theme and apply it. When the theme is applyed start the package disabler you downloaded and choose the system tab. Scroll down and then tick the box where it says "Themes" to stop the time counter. This works 100% The phone doesn't need to be rooted for this to work. The package disabler is also very good to have to disable bloatware on your phone.
I just found a new app that makes Themes for you it's call THEME PARK, I can make my own ...so cool, I clicked on my app drawer and hit search for Theme Park and it found it, I installed it, and now I have the theme I always wanted
Andy, I just applied with your method but see that the current update ruined this option🙄🤦🏼♀️ I have a software update sitting, waiting to be updated on my phone now...I'm assuming that is the update that will knock out the stop button? (The update came through last week in my Samsung Galaxy s8+) At any rate...I will refrain from downloading it bc the theme is still working. Thanks and I will subscribe to be on the look out for something new to bipass these ridiculous 'paid' themes 🙄

No sadly it does not work anymore. Can't see developer options. I am quite willing to pay for the Theme I want but Samsung Billing also does not work anymore. I have been trying to buy this theme for a month already. Always says system error when I try and buy. So where to from here. How does one contact Samsung Billing? Thanks for the tip anyway. I will never "update" the o/s again. The last one I did changed all the writing so I can't even see the contacts list anymore. Was hoping the new Theme would fix this. Sad!
