      @ You can call the power company and ask them to do it. Costs about $5-12 a ft depending on what is allowed. The power company can only service where they have easements. On personal property it is up to the owner to pay.

    Fun fact the ocean Temps are warming enough it’s likely having an effect on the ocean temps off the South American coast. The decider for La Niña or El Niño. We are currently in a weak 0.3 La Niña so at the moment at least it will have very little effect to us for the next month or 2.

    It’s an ens o negative neutral, due to upwelling we could reach a weak La Niña by end Dec. further more mjo phase 6 could cause the polar vortex to weaken giving us higher chance of cold air mid Jan.

    More terrible reporting, this LA Nina is very weak and the odds of a harsh winter are only slightly higher than normal. If LA Nina was strong the odds of a harsh winter would be high. So far this has been a pretty mild winter we haven't had many nights in the 30's and if you open up the Mt Rainier webcams you will see something you don't often see in December, Longmire has no snow. Snoqualmie Pass has some snow but not enough to open the ski resort and usually the ski resort is opening right about now. The ski resort might not be open for christmas, the 10 day forecast looks kind of mild.

    • @Weathernerd27
      @Weathernerd27 11 дней назад +1

      @@FoxyJ_Maestro Uh its the middle of December its been winter for a couple weeks. I know on the news they say winter doesn't start until December 21st but most people define winter as the 3 coldest months December, January and Febuary. If you look at climate data you will see that we are in the coldest 90 days of the year when we should be seeing winter weather patterns. Sometimes a winter stars mild and ends cold resulting in average winter overall but harsh winters tend to not start warm.

    Oh my gosh, the people that complain about darkness like we have eight months of summer not everybody like son from 4 AM to 10 at night being that I’m from the bottom of Texas. I moved here for four seasons. I didn’t move here so that I could have eight months of sunlight when where I’m from is 100% humidity almost 365 days a year so for the people to complain about the darkness it’s only for four freaking months my gosh, you have eight months of summer like get over it it’s not even that bad Four months not only that but like it’s nice and soothing to see darkness earlier when you want to go to bed at six or seven or eight instead of having to wait till the sunsets at 10 at night which is highly annoying and ruins my sleep and then it gets late at 4 AM so I have almost like anywhere from 1415 hours of light like that’s annoying as hell so for these people that are all over the city oh I love this sign. Why do you live here so much if you love the sign like you have eight months of it what more can you ask for you can’t get eight months of sun anywhere but here orMontana or Idaho so like why do y’all complain? It’s four freaking months cry, a river, some people like the dark it’s so soothing on their brain. It’s so soothing on their soul.

    I just can't with this nonsense about idling your car causing any damage.

    • @Antler_addict

      My boss wont let us idle the company trucks & he gets alerts when we do so I Rev the engine at 3,000rpms for 7 min & then put it in drive with the parking break on until the truck is nice & toasty. I'm sure that reving the engine for that long is far worse but I don't have to hear my boss bitching & I still get a nice toasty truck. In the summer while on lunch, I let it idle for 9 min while blasting the A/C, turn it off, then back on for another 9 min & repeat as needed. His trucks are fore sure getting damaged faster than just letting us idle them to be comfortable. Screw him!

      As the north and south pole warm more rock and soil is exposed and those areas that used to store carbon dioxide now release it, speeding up global warming and climate change.
