Loved Jason mentioning the movie Ferris Buellers Day Off. One of my favourite movies of all time. No one who has watched this movie will ever completely trust the Valet parking option for their sports car.
Can you pleasee just reveal the F40 replacement?
250 GTO. I know, I know. But way back in the late 70s I was in my early 20s and I saw a 250 GTO. I stood there (for a moment) and then I wasn't standing. Never before that and never since has looking at a car literally brought me to my knees. Before that I'd seen a few of them in pictures but that was in the metal and I was overwhelmed. For me that car, that shape defines a beautiful car.

Nice one guy’s,I was lucky enough to sit in a 288 GTO back in the 80’s as an apprentice engineer and had the bedroom wall poster of it from Greypaul Ferrari back in the day. It is my second favourite, but my ultimate which you left out based on sheer beauty and design has to be the 246 gt/gts ,arguably the most beautiful car ever designed. I'm amazed the Testarossa didn't make it in, what with the TV show appearance theme. Agree with the F40 being the number 1. I would have gone with the 250LM somewhere in there.
Like Jason, my list is mostly based on aesthetics : 1. 288 GTO, 2. F40, 3. F355, 4. 512 BB, 5. 250 GT California, 6. Testarossa, 7. 550 Maranello, 8. 348ts, 9. Roma, 10. Laferrari.
I have to agree with Jason he nailed at the end with the F40👌.Who in the right mind would get rid of one of them.

I love Ferraris. I have had 575 Maranello, 458 Italia, 488. I have currently F12( which I will keep as long as possible), and have ordered and waiting for my F8 Tributo and 812 Superfast. Can’t wait.
Good video. Got me thinking about my all time fav Ferraris. Lemme see if I can list them out:
1- 599GTB Fiorano (beauty and power collide)
2- 275GTS (absolute and simplistic beauty)
3- 550 Maranello (loved this one from the old Need For Speed games)
4- 250 GT California (same as 2, if not more)
5 - 360 Modena
6 - 458 Series (doesn't matter Italia or Speciale)
7 - 355 Berlinetta (despite the fires)
8 - 612 Scaglietti

Really heartened to see two 250's, a 275, and the P3/P4 choices from two guys younger than me. My all time favorite era Ferrari's were the 250's . . . .
It is impossible to pick ten they are all beautiful classics. My five would be the 250GT SWB, the 330 P4, the 330GT, the 360 and the F12 as a modern classic Ferrari. Next week it could be five different. The choices are endless.
Ferrari needs to split the brand in two. The Portofino, Roma and upcoming SUV has to be branded as Dino, not Ferrari, to avoid brand dilution.
The challenge here is that this strategy would damage Maserati.

Great video and banter guy’s, love The content. I know not many will agree but I always loved the 430 Scuderia and the 575M with the Fiorano pack.
I'd have a Testarossa in there, if only for its genuinely unique looks. It's instantly recognisable and can only be a Ferrari. It adorned a million schoolboy's bedroom wall's next to the Pamela Anderson poster for a reason.
I bought a 599 on Wednesday. I am positive it will be considered one of the greatest Ferrari’s in the future.

Great list guys knew what Jason’s top one would be before I watched. My favourite is a 308/328 as it was my first poster and of course Magnum Pi, it was even the car we had on top of our wedding cake with a little bride and groom it all made from icing. The other one I would add is the F50 just for in this world of dual clutch launch control cars, that engine manual gearbox to blip on the downshifts open top and performance that’s a bit accessible oh and did I say that engine. It’s what just pushed out the Testarossa on my list. Oh plus agrees totally with the amount of cars and models now being made it’s really sad

The P4 is the car that was recently recreated by DeTomaso in the P72. Both are stunners! Great episode guys! Mine is the F50

Amazing choices gentlemen. Sad that Ferrari have followed McLaren and produced way to many cars, it definitely dilutes the brand magic and myth that was present in the 60s, 70s 80s and 90s. My top ten 250 GTO, 250 GT swb, 250 GT lusso, 250 California, 288 GTO, 355, 512 TR, F40 and 458 Speciale. Special mention to the shark nose racing car which I had no room for.👍
Really enjoyed that you two. Agree with 5. 57 Testarosa, P3-4, 288 GTO always been my personal favourite, 328 GTS because I loved my one and still gutted its gone and Finally the unbelievable F40. Classics Ferrari's rule.
Really enjoyed that!!!! Can't argue with any of your choices! Here is my Ferrari story. In the mid 1970s, my friend Steve (sadly departed) and I, walked about four blocks from my rental suite to Clarke Simpkins Honda who at the time was the Ferrari dealer! Say what??? But it was true, and guess what they had lovingly displayed in the show room window along with the sparkling new Honda Civics and Accords? You guessed it, a blood red Ferrari 365 GTB Daytona. Can't tell you how many times we stood in front of that show room window in the evenings, or on Sundays, and drooled to the point of dehydration, because that was the only place you could ever see one.

Oh, one more thing, it really would be perfectly reasonable to sell everything to purchase a GTO along with a humble abode in which to live. In fact, it might be the only way to return to some semblance of reason after having sold an F40... ;)

Fantastic vid guys and thank you very entertaining, As you know I totally agree on the 288 GTO, my all time favorite Ferrari of all time and has been way back in 1984. It is a cross between a full on hyper race car and usable road car and was really the first Ferrari Hypercar, just damn Epic !!

Your list is 100% legit. Have to add something since I prefer Lampredi to colombo: 375 MM is my all time favorite and the extremely rare Canam 712 7 litre V12. Hope the 812 GTO will feature 7 litre displacement.
Brilliant choices, my favorite Ferrari is the 275GTB4, five speed Trans-axle gearbox and a V12 4 Cam engine, whats not to like. Next for me is the Ferrari 250 GT Lusso, yes its got a live rear axle with cart springs, but like the 275, it looks absolutely beautiful! The 288 GTO rounds off my top three, after a particularly hard day at work I always watch the short Petrolicious Morning coffee video featuring David Lees car to wind down.
Lusso came close to getting in there - I almost bought one a few years back

CS utterly let down by the shocking 2002-2005 F1 box as was the Enzo..had both. I was involved with the Evo piece on best Ferraris - if I recall we voted the F50 top as best drivers car over the F40 it's that good - I felt slightly embarrassed driving one though as it looks like a bit of a cartoon as to what a supercar should be - whereas the F40, 288 I felt where amazing and ok for a post 40yr old to drive - which I'd defo' not say of a FXX Ferrari !

I really like Damiens new Farer Cobb watch. I’ve been looking at Farer watches for a while and am very tempted. Love the classic looks at sensible prices.

The biggest delays are in the UK, due to UK customers, what is said is that brands like Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, are delaying UK deliveries on purpose, due to changes in specs and cancellations by UK customers, which are considered today some of the worst in the world!

basically agree with this Top Ten list. And yes Damian, I understand your passion for the F355. I owned a F355 GTS and put the TubiStyle exhaust on it. Sold it five years ago because the maintenance...Now I own a Porsche 993 Cab which is also nice.

Hi Damian and Jason. Enjoying your lockdown series. Agree with many of your choices. Would probably chose the Boxer BB512i because it was the Ferrari poster competitor to the Lamborghini Countach when I was a teen. I also always liked the 512LM racing car, which was the next generation on from the P330. Also, Damian, I think your 488 Pista Spider is worthy too. But, I can understand why you didn’t include it because you haven’t received it and I totally agree with your comments about all the new models being released and not fulfilling current orders. Keep up the great work and I’ll keep watching. One small suggestion. Your channel often switches to others channels like Harry’s Garage after watching your latest videos. Harry Metcalfe’s videos link one after the other to videos in his history library that the viewer may not have seen. It would be excellent if your channel linked to previously posted Car Guys videos that the viewer hadn’t seen rather than having to search them or exit from Shmee150 and Harry’s Garage that seem to startup when the Car Guys video ends.

TheCarGuys.TV I often watch your videos via You Tube on my TV. At the end of your videos it wanders off to another channel. Most commonly Harry’s Garage 1st and Shmee150 2nd. But when I watch Harry’s videos it automatically picks up the next Harry’s video and begins to play it... I just thought it would be good if your channel did the same thing. Cheers Guys...

That's a hard choice! I think I would go for the older, classic Ferraris like a 250 California or a 330 GTC, whereas Si would go for a more modern, 'rip yer face off' supercar like an F40. I think we'd both agree though that the late 70's 400's were the PITS. At least design-wise anyway. Keep up the good work lads, we loves ya!!
I'm more a Lambo fan, but if I were to pick my top Ferrari I'd go for: 308 GTB, 288GTO, 355 (manual) 512 TR, 550 (manual), 458 Spider, F12, LaFerrari, SF90, F8 Tributo Spider. In the La Ferrari spot feel free to swap in the F40, Enzo or F50.
And bugger me if that's not pratically every modern Ferrari. So, just give me one, I'm not fussy. I'll even take a 348 if it's a GTB or GTS...
But park a Countach next to any of the above and watch them suddenly disappear.

The Ferrari 412 T2 F1 car from 1995 was a great looking/sounding machine.
You have criminally left out the 250 GTO and my personal favourite, the 250 SWB.

Have to agree with Jason, my first real exposure to Ferrari was Magnum PI ......I had a poster of that 308.....and thought it was the coolest at the time even with Magnums head sticking above the windshield 😊

Never had the chance to drive any, but in my humble opinion:
308- one passed my childhood house daily. Rosso Corsa, cream leather and always went by in first as he warmed the engine.
430 Scuderia- I loved the concept of it, back to the bones cabin and the F1 inspired steering wheel with the manettino switch
FF- a V12 four, four everyday Ferrari that can be shared with all including the kids
F40- my first matchbox car and what is there left to say...
F12TDF- V12 and a geek fest of materials, terminology and carbon!!
The main concern with my list is I am sure Enzo will be horrified with the lack of race cars considered- he built race cars to win and road cars to pay for it, amazing that we remember the road cars more!

Hi Damien got to agree on the 355 had the pleasure of owning one cant say my bank account liked it as much as me. only drove a couple of prancing horses though for me the worst was the 599gtb sounded amazing but i hated driving it. the testrosa was nice fond memories of Miami vice lol. Have to totally agree with Jason on the current trend of far to many models been released every 2 min, in-fact its and industry wide problem.Have to be honest im not a fan of the current designs that every one is following each other with bloated over hyped massively over priced silly named cars. Need to go back to roots and what made the prancing horse so famous and desirable.sadly these days im not in a position to ever own any even the junk ones, nearest il get is a match box replica.Keep up the brilliant work love the content, im going to take your side on the sale of the F40 if you had kept going with it you would have ended up only having a 1 car garage with a camper van out side.

I know nothing about Ferrari’s having decided from an early age that they might be a little pricey. Did see an F40 go up in flames at a track day at Bedford Autodrome once, that was scarery. Luckily the fire crews got it under control though and the damage wasn’t too bad. Thought the Testerossa might of got a look in, it been the poster icon of the 80’s though.
Like the Farer and the ‘bog standard’ Batman, made me chuckle that one. 😆
