    All of the forces that govern the vast cosmos came into harmony and gave birth to this fountain of passion who's continence is truth that it may unite the innumerable contrary impulses of men's minds as a gift of brief bliss.

    It's pleasing to find there are so many Holst fans. The Planets had such a big influence on movie music etc that we all hear his music even without knowing it.

    Thanks so much for the upload! I've been a great fan of G. Holst on account of The Planets, mainly in the stunning version conducted by Stokowski. But I didn't know much else. Now, through your uploads, I'm discovering several other fascinating works!... Shared on Google+

      thanks, holst is the greatest composer for me. Famous planets is
      certainly very cool music. Then it needs to discover other neglected
      music of him. I can say in first thought that Cloud Messenger is the one
      of the most beautiful music of him.

      Nietzsche died in 1900, but it's almost guaranteed that Holst was inspired to this by Nietzsche
