I have received a couple of emails during the past 2 days asking if I could explain on a video how to remove a halo from the edge of a building which could have been introduced through increasing contrast in the sky.
Hello Ian I have watched several of how to's to remove halos and yours certainly came over as the quickest and simplest to do this, so thank you. Just one final question do you produce a written sheet of instructions because the minute I switch the tutorial off, I forget what I was going to do ( oldtimers setting - in )....

Is the only reason you duplicate the layer so you can compare before/after halo removal?
