The voice actress for Fujiwara is incredible. Hearing the mix of Japanese and English in this clip really shows how vastly different sentence structure is between the two languages. Plus, that "oh my gosh, whats happening?!" makes me laugh every time I hear it. Hahaha
The inner monologue is actually likely close to how a bilingual person thinks. Watch someone where English is 2nd, their first will peak out every few words if they aren't paying attention.
I'm bilingual and no, not really. at least not the switching every 2 secs. We usually just think in our native language and if we hear a word in the second language then that's how we think of it unless we're trying to recall it after some time, in that case we've already translated it to our native language so we just go by the native language.
