- Saturday February 9th, was the annual Puppy Palooza, one of many events hosted by the Los Angeles Ponies & Critters Club. This event for animal roleplay enthusiasts which includes not only human puppies but also kitties, foxes, or any 4 legged human critter. It works the same way a dog show works but with human pups (critters) as the contestants with human handlers.

The Doghouse stoke is a UK based place for pup play. On their site it says "Doghouse takes place every 3rd Saturday of the month from 1pm to 6:30pm. It is hosted at Gossip Nightclub, Hope Street, Stoke-on-Tren"
5:14 at this moment i forgot that they are humans. I saw a dog and i thought "rhis dog is pretty clever", because i remembered myself "These are humans". I was stunned.
Such a cute video. A few thoughts:
*Posted February 18th, 2019. Ah, so this was in the halcyon days before the Covid-19 pandemic started and such a large and intimate gathering became possible. It took a good year or two until widespread vaccination made such an event even possible again.
*2:43 Now there's a therian run if I ever saw one. I'm sure there's a lot of overlap between puppies and therians. I also would expect a therian would have quite the advantage in an actual physical competition like this. 😀
*I'm surprised how evenly split the genders are in this video. At least human puppy specifically tends to be almost exclusively homosexual males. Certainly there are some kitties here, who generally tend to be female, but I saw plenty of other females actually portraying dogs and wolves here.

I’ve always wondered about myself because I knew I wasn’t normal (by that I mean I knew I was different in someway) and when I saw videos like these I was like why does it seem like something that is familiar or comforting?

Is it okay to be a 13 year old pup, and not do any pup training or go to any cons/moshes. Just kinda like put on a hood, tail, and play around in my bedroom or like in my own back yard, my mom and family are fine with it, I even just bought my first pup hood. Because when I was little I would play around like a dog or cat and I just really find it fun.
Edit: the pup hood was custom made by a friend to not look so like adult like I guess (hope that made sense)
Edit: I don’t really have interaction with the outside community of petplay and or pet regression. I buy my hoods and keep everything else to myself. So In a way I kinda left both communities but still partake in pup regression/animal roleplay or whatever you wanna call it. So yeah thanks for that.

Of course I think that this is repulsive. But I do not let that develop into hatred because I know how to control my emotions. Some people let confusion become disgust, and disgust become hatred since they're only able to view society through a self-oriented perspective. It is completely fine to be revolted by this activity, but it is not fine to insult and harass these people because of how you view them.
That is the very definition of tolerance. And while it's better to be positive and agree with people on things, if that's not possible, the second best option is sonder, by which I mean realizing that every other individual one sees has a life as full and real as one’s own. Other people like different things, and that in the words of Mark Twain "a man’s got to be in his own Heaven to be happy." So as long as a person's interest don't stray into criminality, then those interests should be tolerated.
I'm a puppy, a furry, and a Brony, but my interests are a good deal more vanilla than some of the interests in either of those communities, so when I encounter others who do things I find repulsive, I've found it's best to tolerate them rather than get upset that their interests don't match my own.

They are strap ons worn backwards and have silicone tails in them instead of dildos hope this helps

im not going to say i hate or despise this community, but i really think you guys need help. Acting out as a puppy like this is just not healthy for your mental health and your personality as a human being. If becoming a pup makes you more happy and/or gets rid of your problems perhaps because people are giving you more affection, then you should sit down and reflect on yourself. Have a friend to chat to, start a healthy relationship, talk to family members,etc. Having met lots of people who dont receive affection from their family, suffer depression, gets abused, are not comfortable in their own body, and lots of other things, they tend to head off to the wrong direction. All they needed was just the correct emotional support and encouragement. Please seek help.
I know this comment is from awhile ago but I would like to thank you for not being hateful towards this community. I can't speak for the sexual pet play since I'm asexual, but if we're talking about strictly non-sexual pet play, then its known as pet regression and its actually a coping mechanism that's kind of like playing pretend. Obviously pet regressors know that they're not actually an animal. And it doesn't get rid of our problems, but pet regressors use petre as a form of escapism the same way someone might use tv or sports as escapism. I'm not saying that if you need professional help that you shouldn't get it, because you should seek help if you need it. But petre is a way of relieving stress and anxiety, and its often used with other coping mechanisms such as the ones you mentioned. Also, I hope that the people you know that experienced trauma, mental health issues, body imagery issues, lack of affection, etc. were able to get the support that they needed. Again, thank you for not being hateful or rude and I hope you have/had a good day/night.
