    Chair: Victoria Betton, Chief Innovation Officer, Mindwave
    Victoria is Chief Innovation Officer at Mindwave, where she helps grow and develop the company's impact, working with the NHS, academia and the third sector to innovate with digital. She is a member of Tech UK’s Health and Care Council, HIMSS UK Advisory Board and Leeds City Region Digital Board. She is a trustee of refugee and asylum seeker charity Solace and a volunteer at Hackney Quest. She was previously founder and managing director of digital health consultancy mHabitat and collaboration space Co-Space North. She is a qualified social worker and coach with over twenty years’ experience in local government, third sector and the NHS. She has a PhD and is a published author.

    Aejaz Zahid, Programme Director for Innovation, South Yorkshire & Bassetlaw Integrated Care System
    Aejaz Zahid is the programme director for innovation at the South Yorkshire & Bassetlaw Integrated Care System, a partnership that brings together the major health and social care organisations in the region. An impact-oriented engineer, clinical scientist and problem solver at heart, Aejaz has a passion for innovation and technology, with a firm belief in its potential for empowering communities. For almost twenty years he has worked in a diversity of healthcare services and systems both in the UK and abroad, and his teams have won numerous awards for innovation the world over. Aejaz’ team has recently established an Innovation Hub within the SYB Integrated Care System, a key partnership with the Yorkshire & Humber Academic Health Science Network that leverages the strengths of both organisations to nurture a culture of innovation in the South Yorkshire & Bassetlaw region.
    Dr Ceri Batchelder, Super Connector, TEAM SY
    Ceri is a regional lead of the TEAM SY tech ecosystem project, delivered in South Yorkshire by start-up experts Capital Enterprise. The project aims to help tech businesses explore new ideas and markets, set-up or scale-up and create high value jobs. During her career, Ceri has moved from academia to knowledge exchange and business development roles in the life sciences and digital sectors. Her love of creating connections led her to set up her own business, Connect&Create, through which she supports tech entrepreneurship, digital innovation and ecosystem development. Ceri is also a Royal Society Entrepreneur in Residence at the University of Sheffield, where she works with students and staff to develop new digital projects and partnerships.
    David Calder, Knowledge Transfer Manager: Health and Care at KTN
    David Calder has a background in Engineering, Manufacturing, New Product Development and Research & Design where he has spent 12 years in health-related fields. His experience includes a cross-sector portfolio of roles in the private sector leading to his current role as Knowledge Transfer Manager in support of UK Innovation. He joined KTN 2014 where he is lead for health and care, this includes digital health, population health and independent living (healthy ageing). He also participates in cross-sector activity mainly through his experience of managing technical and business consultancy projects. ktn-uk.org/
    Luc de Witte, Professor of Health Services Research, Centre for Assistive Technology and Connected Healthcare (CATCH), University of Sheffield
    Luc’s research focuses on the development, implementation and evaluation of technology-enabled innovations in health and social care. He also works on projects in India and some other low- and middle-income countries. These international projects also focus on the use of technology to improve health and wellbeing of people with support needs in low resource settings. Over the past 25 years he has been working as an application-oriented researcher in the field of long-term care and assistive technology, until October 2016 in the Netherlands, where he was a professor at Maastricht University and Zuyd University of Applied Sciences. His current research can be divided into four themes: assistive technology service delivery; care robotics; digital healthcare solutions, technologies applied to global health challenges. www.catch.org.uk/team-member/p...
