I would like to think the reasoning for licensed refs is to not blur them out in the live action during Showcase. To that end, Mike Chiota and Earl Hebner are in LOTS of WWE's major moments, so it would make sense to also feature them if they can. That said, for the showcase matches where they can't get the referee, they've show they will still use the generic model

I can't wait to see Earl and Dave Hebner, Tim White, and all of the refs from the other major companies as custom refs in Community Creations once the game launches. It will really make the game more authentic, especially for Universe Mode

I think super finishers will cause matches to be really quite short. So you earn 3 finishers, hit the super finishers, and the match is over. I see people spamming the heck out of matches just to earn a super finisher and hit it. I never like something that the developers have said once you hit this the match is pretty much over. That might be fine when you face off against the cpu but not against another person
Given how quick and talented the community were in 2K23, I wouldn't be surprised if we see a R-Truth Judgment Day attire in the Community Creation area in the first week. Given how quickly Oba has risen, I wouldn't be surprised if they decide to add him as DLC down the line, along with the likes of Kairi Sane, Jade Cargill, and CM Punk. Well, technically Isla's on SmackDown with Alba. I certainly hope we get Superstar specific plates for the titles. If not by launch, then hopefully patched in later.

That 4 person Judgment Day entrance should of been added into WWE 2K23 last year! Now theyve added it its already outdated as we need a 5 person entrance to include JD! This is why we NEED live updates! Im fed up of playing a game a year behind all the time 😭 This is what DLC should be for! Instead 2K hold back stuff to release in their fixed DLC packs.. This method doesnt work in 2024 🤦🏻♂️

And sorry but that is the laziest excuse to not have multiple commentary teams especially when they were in older games done by THQ/Yukes who had a lot less money than 2K. If they were to include a new commentary team,the commentary will be extremely repetitive, such as in the case of the old SvR games which had multiple commentators. And keep in mind back then there was not 200 plus people on the roster so it was easier to record commentary. When Graves, Saxton and Cole were first introduced as a commentary trio, it took until at least 2K22 for them to have less repetitive and more natural sounding commentary. Like,attimes you'll get what feels like unique commentary between superstars who've never faced each other. Well, sort of anyway.
@@nzuzovilakazi901 the commentary is already repetitive and unique lines of dialogue can end up being skipped entirely by the game if you do a pin, submission or jump off the top rope (at least in my game anyway). Heck I've still had moves called the complete wrong thing in my game All of which are things they should have fixed. They even could've added a slick way of going back to what they were talking about like a real conversation once the pin kicked out of or when the submission is escaped
