WWE 2K24 vs WWE 2K23 Visuals Comparison (Hybrid Head To Head)

- This video puts WWE 2K24 up against last years WWE 2K23 in a hybrid mix of both sets of entrances. Which game looks better? This comparison only works for superstars with the the same entrances motions in both games - The game does obviously feature a bunch of new entrance animations too! Its also worth noting that WWE 2K23 was recorded in a high resolution.
Early #WWE2K24 gameplay has arrived! Big thanks to 2K UK and WWE 2K for flying me out to Florida to capture the gameplay from this earlier build of WWE 2K24.

Some of the skin textures are different probably depends on the lighting
I like how they focused more on lighting this time. It’s not all about the character models yes that plays a major role however getting the lighting down and how that reflects on the character really makes the characters look beautiful.

I edit my screen but good to edit settings in game before playing also. Just fit more to your preference

When Randy returned, I started using that version of Randy in my universe mode since he was already in the game.
Bc it’s exactly what they did last year for 09 Randy, all they did was use the same body type model and made him bald🤦🏾♂️

Can't wait for them to drop last gen support. Enough is enough. It's the 3rd game that is basically the same sh!t with 2-3 new (quite insignificant) additions.
Last gen has nothing to do with their limitations. The PS4 and XB1 can handle far more than this. Their small budget and short timeframe is what's holding them back and that's never gonna change. You won't see better graphics or major improvements for another 5 years at least.

Not that big of a change tbh, and I'm not complaining, the character models look pretty realistic, except for a few superstars.

Any fixes for the side plates on US and IC belts this year?
Not worth the upgrade this year truth be told. Better off releasing every other year while giving more dlc each time around
Is there anything actually different ? $70 seems a lot to pay for a game with some graphic tweaking. Similar to Madden football.

I hope they fix the name of The Undertaker from 98 to 99 because the model is 99 not 98, Dark Side theme song from '98 was also used on Undertaker 99, which contradicts reality, I mean Lord of Darkness theme" was supposed to be added not Dark Side, But I wish to add both characters 98 and 99 and the music of Dark Side and Lord of Darkness + Real Titantron As in reality
4 years into this new gen of gaming and graphics still PS4 level. Slight lighting changes aren't gonna cut it anymore.
They need to grow a pair and make 2K25 next-gen exclusive. They are literally holding their game back graphically and technically.

@marimoneyygaming5634 These graphics have been around since 2K15 only minor improvements and a few changes in lighting over the years. In the PS5 and Series X generation we seriously need a big overhaul in graphics. They couldn't at least put in good hair physics.
My god the lighting is night and day better.
Earlier WWE games , they downgraded with each installment and seldom had upgrades, but since the new games i.e from 2k22, they really push the envelope with each games and the graphics keeps on improving even by a tiny notch as well as adding new other features as well❤
At the same time, the animation of throwing objects looks terrible

In 2k23 it looks much older, and in 2k24 they just took a slightly redesigned 2009 model
Looks the dang same just update with a download instead of putting out the same copy of a game every year till there is a distinguishable difference.
it's hard to improve graphics now since 23 was already said to have good graphics, so they made more modes into it instead of making much changes to the looks.
@Chillwave6 doesn't justify spending $70 for a whole new game that a download can't do for say $20

I mean he's in the game every single year, he's every week on NXT....he doesn't need to be confirmed, him being in the game is a given. What would be cool is for him to be there as King Booka, just like in 2k19. 😊

Roman Reigns hair is so glitchy in both games, but especially in 2K24, they've changed some things that they should've kept the same. It's tricky, I think they've peaked graphically until the new consoles role around.
Also both Seth & Rhea Ripley look a lot lot better in 2K23 for some reason Seth looks older in 2K24 and Rhea has a chubbier face, very unflattering 😂 I also think the reflection of the titantron looks way better on 2K23.
This is why they shouldn't of peaked graphically because any small differences, people are going to spot immediately
This REALLY does how heavily they struggle with hair. But- character models they don't need much change from last time around- looks like they got the lighting dialed in better- I think I'll just stick to 2k23 for now.
There's nothing to compare too because it's just copy and paste for 2K24

They always modify the lighting to give it a different feel... Butt thats it.. its just manipulation tactics.

I really don’t see models getting a huge upgrade for maybe another 5 or even 10 years, they’re pretty well done already.

Hair physics still look absolutely trashy, Character models still look like early PS4 Xbox 1 models
They really really really really need to stop making those games for last gen consoles and focus on making an actual next gen game

They could updatte attires monthly as a battle pass or whatever, update the entrances. Roman is champion has been how many time? He still has the f ing shield entrance

There’s literally no difference, the lighting is still horrible and the game still looks outdated.
