this is a very nice smooth and controlled sound of Ain't No Stopping Us Now. Good chops from the drummer.
Mr. Neu, after listening to this video you definitely have a new fan! I am always looking for other sax players that I can emulate from. I've been a weekend warrior sax player for 38 years and always try to listen to other players to better my own playing. Very cool, thanks!
Jason Long, the pianist; is an awesome bass player also!
Love studio jam !!!!
Very inspiring and hope one day to play a saxophone like that! 🎶🎷
Outstanding job, guys!!!
Fantastically rich and warm sound with great groove, could listen to all day.... but must work
How could anyone dislike this?
That's excellent. The drum solo is really tasty.
inchino totale! emozione pura! grandissimi musicisti!
the bass line makes this song !
Andrew & cia. Belo conjunto, ótima musica, parabéns
Thank you jason
Wow supper tone quality.
Awesomeness Gentlemen!
Andrew Neu, I’ll remember you man. The tone you get from the sax is crazy sweet. If i could achieve half the quality of sound you get I’d be elated. I got a lot of work ahead of me. If you have any suggestions for me, I’d be grateful. Well done Andrew 👍😎you’re so relaxed.
Thanks for the props Joe!
its all in that embouchure and practising those long tones, it is a very sweet tone and I wish I could get as smooth a sound as well
@@andrewneu8258 I’m your only subscriber. I just subscribed to you after reading your comment. Don’t ask me why I did it- I’m weird lmao.
Anyway, beautiful playing! I wonder how your practice regimen is like?

Hey now. I’m liking this
very NICE.
Amazing from Italia
excellent
The drum solo was the perfect way to end the song
Guys sound nice nothing like that live soul sound baby
Ah jazz spin I love it
Surprisingly tough song. Hard to get the sheet music for and hard to emulate the original voices on a sax.
Good job.
Perfekt cool 😎🎼🔈💭👍
On point.
It sounds great and all, but where the original bass line at? That part is what makes this song great in my opinion.
i miss talking like this.
bluegrass ,in A.just isnt the same.
in reality, how long did it took to finish from discussion/planning to recording?
Typically, for most all of these sessions, musicians take about 15 minutes to work through a quick arrangement before recording a Take. Sometimes they do opt to record a 2nd Take (probably half of the time) to tighten up the arrangement. That's it though. And we never go back to punch in any bad notes, etc. What you hear is what they play.
cool, amazing how the products turns out so professional with 15 minutes preparation.. I must encourage my band to subscribe to your channel :)
Keyboard player has a lot of videos playing bass
