A little update! To start off, I love you guys and thank you SO MUCH for sharing such lovely comments. I keep coming back to this video to read all these comments and the support you've so kindly shared. This was my last cinematic uploaded to this channel because what followed the upload of "Shell Shock" was an enormous opportunity. I am as of the summer 2018 employed at EA & DICE and with a team of equally passionate minds I get to work on the latest Battlefield trailers (!!!!). If you wish to see more of my work you've probably already seen it in trailers like the "BFV: War in the Pacific Official Trailer" and "SWBF2: The Rise of Skywalker Official Trailer". It's truly a dream come true story and one that not a lot of people outside our community understand. I can't thank you all enough for watching these videos and all the people that offered their time to help me record them... After all, a big reason as to why I started doing this, and kept doing it, was to entertain. Much appreciation
You were one of the main reason of why I started creating cinematic content this year. I am very surprised and happy you were behind of making the latest trailers for EA & DICE. Thank you for leading me onto this journey as a cinematic artist! :)
I'd pay money for a full movie of these, it doesn't even have to follow a storyline, it can just be a shit ton of scenes like this from these channels.
@@william_brobrine8975 yes, I know that and I do enjoy it when I can or other people play like that, however people camp in alies and in craters and small trenches (with no other players) it's very annoying (in rs2 and ro2 there's a machinegun system which makes them feel more heavy thus it pressures you to use it how'd they use it in real life (Rising Storm 2, Red Orchestra 2)
This is so well made. The in-game cinematography is absolutely stunning. If EA hired you, we might’ve gotten a good campaign for the battlefields after one.
Mr. Story Teller the fact that Brittish troops carried german weapons? The gear and armor was not en par with the time this is set in. And so on. But it has not so much to do with the creater as much as it has to do with the inaccuracies of the game devs not knowing how to research history.
@@cinder9407 they did research...but a game based around bolt action rifles (even more a battlefield game which all relly in diversity and variety) would be pretty dissapointing... Besides, all shooters do that since the medal of honor and no one seems to care about modern russians with m16s or 1960s vietnamese with northamerican helicopters. Last, bf 1 is a hugely accurate where you consider details that you didn't know about ww1, like the presence of colonial soldiers and the CORRECT presence of women (indians, africans, australians, white army scouts), the way of calling objectives (apples, butter...), most of the vehicles are almost exact replicas of the originals and a shit ton more that i recommend you to watch "battlefield 1 details" by defendthehouse. Not to mention...BlAcK aSiAn FeMaLe NaZis from bf5 or cod ww2...that's insulting.
This is something you can expect, when fighting a new type of war and putting it on a massive scale. The carneg and horrors of war can effect us like that and worse.
I have seen this a couple of times before, but it still keeps amazing me everytime how realistic and emotional it is. Best Bf1 cinematic on yt. I hope you can create some historic and respectfull video's in Bfv!!! Keep up the good work!!!
Thanks a lot man I'm glad you're still enjoying it :) I work at DICE Media team nowadays, part of making the trailers/videos so I've got my fair share of BFV content coming up (although not here but on the official Battlefield channel). Some of my work is in the latest Gamescom trailer. Thanks again. :)
Awesome job. I'm only here because I've kind of gone down the rabbit hole, but I'm glad that I am. There were moments that gave me the shivers - just a feel of visceral terror. You've really captured it well.
Fantastically made, one of the best I've seen! Only one thing I could suggest, and this goes for a lot of these sort of videos made, but my only suggestion is to take more care with the actual historical accuracy of weapons. I.e giving the British soldiers actual British weapons instead of anything. But great work!
When you put your feet into someone's shoes, you see every, single, bit of it with no nooks and crannies. It's like you've been there, you saw your men get slaughtered, you felt the fear, the smell of blood from the enemy and your fellow soldiers, the metal from giant beasts fills your nose, and you hear the sounds of battle, screams and moans, explosions and gunfire, your beating heart trying to keep up with the fear and agony, orders from you commanders, and the thought in your head you won't make it out alive...
This reminded me of Saving Private Ryan first 25 minutes and Hacksaw Ridge horrifying first battle . You need an Oscar for this. You should do a (If you ever get the chance) WW1 Horror flick that is like DUNKIRK. You should make us terrified. get jumpscared (thats a cliche, deal with it) and yet beautiful landscapes with longshot of people having a conversation. Just an idea
Hornedal oh dont get me wrong 84k is amazing but you clearly but so much time into this but people that steal others content and clickbate get millions when is you that should get millions not them x
Charlie Pettman I truly appreciate the thought :) Although it’s not the amount I care too much about, I loved making this and if it can reach and amaze a few people just like you, that’s what makes me happy. Because of this film I’ve gotten recognition from people I never thought would consider me. More news about that soon but right now I’m super content. :) Again, really appreciate the kind words.

Glad to hear!
Are you still working at Battlefield trailers after 3 years or moved on to other stuff?
I'd pay money for a full movie of these, it doesn't even have to follow a storyline, it can just be a shit ton of scenes like this from these channels.
give me money and i’ll send you some links
This is short video alone is better than any movie coming out this year
That wasn't a cinematic movie
That was art
Damn that was unreal!!!
no, frostbite.
This needs to be available in cinemas :o
Disectra I know the quality is amazing!
Finally a bf1 cinematic that involves a actual trench assault rather than soldiers running around in a frenzy
0:25 when the enemy support starts camping
but then someone on your team sneaks around him and melees him from behind because he wasn't paying attention
Ain't that's kind of the thing people do in real life hold a position and just mow down anyone that hops over the trench

Awesome job Hornedal! keep up the great cinematics!
Robert Stoneman Thanks mate and will do! :)
battlefield is just that kind of game where you can make cutscenes using footage from a literal live multiplayer match
That was one of the most professional cinematics I have ever seen. Great work.
This is so well made. The in-game cinematography is absolutely stunning. If EA hired you, we might’ve gotten a good campaign for the battlefields after one.
This is great! The historical inaccuracies are physically painful, but you can only do so much with this game.
General Grievous what was inaccurate about this?

Oh my Lord... it's just like hearing one of your commanders talking to each others... "They are not expected to survive."
Love the camera work. I can imagine took ages to get it right
Best Battlefield 1 cinematic I've seen by far! Good to see all that time and effort paying off! Well done! :)
Why doesn't this have millions of views??
We need more plane scenes like that. It was beautiful!!!
The cinematic quality of the environments in BF1 are the best I have seen in a PvP shooter ever. Hands down.
00:21 - 00:55 I have never felt so much epicness in other cinematics. Great job, keep it up man :)
Subscribed.
This could be an actual movie. Beautiful.
This is a really amazing cinematic, great job!!!
Holy... how does this not have 1 million views.... this is one of the best cinematic I've seen for BF 1.
Thanks buddy :)

I've never seen a michinma this good or seeing bf1 look this well , PHENOMENAL JOB TO YOU
These BF1 cinematics are my new favorite thing.
That was simply beautiful, in showcasing the horror and loss in war
Holy shit this is really good. I was expecting machinima-quality, but I was proved wrong. This is honestly really impressive
Epic! First cinematic plane sequence I've seen properly done :) Sound design was also superb
Amazing. Definetely in my top 5 cinematics of bf1.
This was so incredibly well made. This didn’t even look like the game. Congrats.
This is absolutely phenomenal! I’d love to see more :)
These cinematic movies are getting better than I thought geez 😳at all the cinematic movies I saw they all improved since the last time I seen them
This is what battlefield was born for
This is the best Battlefield 1 cinematic I’ve seen!!!
Incredible! The dogfight scenes were perfect.
Imagine having dementia and having to raid the trenches over and over again. Even tho it's all in your head. Like a dream on repeat.

Been a while since I've watched anything that sent chills down my spine.
Excellent work, mate.
Very nice cinematic, really shows the horrors of war!

If only the game had a shell shock feature, like for a few seconds everything goes blurry and the sound fades out and your rate of fire slows down.
Made in the game !
Throw in some SFM for the dialogs animation and you can make a movie out of this !
Very well done, Congrats !
Everything is well placed in this video, very good work.
Incredible! You did an excelent job, I hope the guys at battlefield twitter retweet this.
Wow this was amazing, Im sure me along with a lot of other people wanna see more
Keep up the great work :)
I'm triggered that not that much people subbed and this is majestic.
That was some great entertainment man, loved it . My only complaint it was too short, I just didn't want it to end lol.
Absolutely stunning!
It really turned out great.

You know a game is great when. You get PTSD from the first match of Conquest or operation
You need to make more of these, they are way better than any others
welcome to bf1 where the game is a literal movie
11/10 mate
Nice that your done witht the project! the results look great (: I'm kinda sad I didn't have time to help but maybe another time...
