    I noticed the Back of the Dragon sticker. I'm about an hour from it and ride out regularly. I was born in Winston-Salem. I love close to Blacksburg Va now. Pretty awesome to see people close to me.

    Truly appreciate you did that on a 2003 Road King (I still have a 2004 Electra Glide Classic) All these years searching for sixth gear but that aside we all know its the ride. Good Luck and stay safe.

      I agree - 6th gear would have been great on those long interstate days. So glad I had cruise control.

    This August Me and an old Marine buddy from Baton Rouge are meeting in Birmingham, heading up through Michigan then turning west to Jackson Hole WY and back. Plan on taking Highway 2 there and 90 back.

    Hello, Chris! I am so glad this video popped up into my feed! I watched one of your videos a few years ago and stopped by your channel but as you know, riding and making videos takes a good long time so there isn't a lot of time to watch channels. However this one really caught my eye because hubby and I rode, he on his 2018 Ultra limited and me on my 2018 Can-Am Spyder F3 Limited to Alaska this past summer. We did not go to prudhoe Bay... We wanted to though! We spent a few weeks in Alaska exploring, set up base camp at North Pole and visited valdez, seward, whittier, Homer spit Anchorage and Fairbanks. I really like how you did this video! I am working on my Alaska series still...😅😅😅... We left July 7th so maybe we even saw you up there somewhere lol. We crossed back into Canada at the top of the world Highway and our first stop then was Dawson City... We thought perhaps the road would be a bit better than the Alcan was from Haines junction to Tok... It was not lol. I will definitely watch your whole series on this because it's cool when you've been somewhere you can relate to it even better. Also, we've been to key West on our rides. We were there last April... We live in Pennsylvania and only made it to South Dakota on our way home from Alaska because in Sioux Falls on August 28th I suffered a brain bleed. The amazing news is that we were only three miles from Sanford medical Center, the only level one trauma Center in the state. I am fully recovered and just started back riding again! Take care and hope to meet you in person and swap Alaska stories some day! @crunchmoto

    Never go through Atlanta, go around on the loops, in west palm, pick up 70 west to 27/98 south, takes you down the center of the state, ( NO MIAMI BS) 27 to chrome 997 to over seas hwy to key west. ( on the northside of key largo, you have to try Bob's BUNs)

    Is there a secret to the Go Pro...I took a trip to Florida to Boston a couple years ago and would get about 20 minutes out of the battery.

    • @CrunchMoto
      @CrunchMoto  Месяц назад

      My secret is to only record about 5-10 seconds at a time while riding past interesting things. That also makes editing easier.

    I guess most of the viewers know there’s a few more videos leading up to this one… As far as the gas issue goes, first of all, use your gage to keep up with how much gas you have, if the gage is accurate and most aren’t that much, check it often. Running out of gas once is bad, more than once on the same trip is just careless. You obviously have an issue to get that bad a gas mileage, so I’d fix that before continuing, but that’s just me… Good videos though.

    • @CrunchMoto
      @CrunchMoto  8 месяцев назад

      Thanks for watching. Turns out it was a combination of speed and headwinds crossing the US and Canadian plains that affected my fuel economy. Nothing wrong with the bike at all. In fact, at slower speeds in Yukon and Alaska, I was able to get nearly 200 miles to a tank on multiple occasions.

  • @larrywilson7933
    @larrywilson7933 4 месяца назад +1

    You are traveling across the country and right off you don’t put on rain gear when you see a storm coming? Also, running out of gas one time is just poor planning, more than that is just incompetence.

    • @CrunchMoto

      If you liked that, just wait until I ride on a bald tire in Canada or dump the bike in Alaska!
