      Awesome. Thanks for another great video.
      Can you suggest a Victron 12v in to 12v out stabilizer?
      I need to maintain 12v for sensitive electrical components over long conductor runs.
      Looked at some Victron power converters but it was 24 to 12v. Not 12 to 12.
      Thanks!

    Thanks for the explanation🙏. I was hoping that I could use the power assist in the revers mode meaning, drawing as much power as the battery/inverter can provide and having an assisting mode that would add any extra current required from the grid/shore. I have deactivated power assist for the moment.

    Always great video content! I have a 2023 Sprinter and started off with purchasing a Bluetti AC300 solar generator and B300 extra battery for my initial house battery bank power setup. I have portable solar panels to recharge the AC300 when camped. I would like to recharge while on the road and would like to know what you would recommend for a 12V converter to be hardwired into the Sprinter alternator charginging system. The 12V car charging port or the solar charging port can be used. I would image a 12V-60V variable converter may be an option. Your thoughts please.

    Good luck with your new project. I noted that as usual you referred to cable size in AWG sizes. Since your videos are watched world wide and most of the world uses metric wire measurements could you address this issue please?

    • @CheyneDaggett
      @CheyneDaggett 4 месяца назад

      You could always do what we have to in the US when metric is used. Google it.

    • @EXPLORISTlife
      @EXPLORISTlife  4 месяца назад +1

      Yes! We will have on-screen conversions any time we mention a wire gauge size (or length, or temperature) going forward since we now have nearly as many people viewing internationally vs USA.

    Great idea guys! Other than ad- free, how is it different than binge watching your youtube vids? If you added some kind of weekly or monthly chat or question period that would make me sign up!

    • @EXPLORISTlife
      @EXPLORISTlife  4 месяца назад +1

      Good question! The paid Academy is the video + article (like the blog post) + quiz in a structured step-by-step online classroom setting that allows us (and you) to keep lessons organized and in order.
      This won't be for everybody as all of this info will indeed be available for free on our various media platforms but we've had enough requests for an ad-free online classroom setting free of distractions with the content all in one place, so we are doing it.
      A weekly live chat is a great idea, but I won't be able to guarantee that at a $99 flat fee for lifetime access. If we integrate something that time intensive in the future, it'll have to move to a monthly subscription fee.

      @@EXPLORISTlife Thx for the detailed response! I may join this program but for sure I would join a monthly/annual program too if you offered one!
      I'm about to commit on a lot of tools and gear to build a 48v system for a 3 month RV trip (and beyond!). For almost every item I have watched your vids on it, over and over and over for some of them.

    Good Morning. Love the new show. I do have one Question. I have two Pannels 200 Watts each and the AC will put a shado over part of one pannel. I have to Battle Born batteries and at this time I do not use a lot of power. So what do you think is better Parallel or series to just keep the batteried charged. Jack Long time follower.

    Looks sound to me. Just a small grammatical improvement: “RV’s” is possessive, while from context what you mean is plural “RVs”.

    Yeah I wish these guys Nate would actually get a hold of somebody or have a website to answer some questions. Instead of asking me what size battery I need so I got to give mama. So I could tell what I’m trying to do with my 83 holiday rambler Imperial. So I know what the hell did buy And how many solar panels to put on the roof which I have room for 10 maybe more. It’s so stupid these guys want you to spend thousands of dollars on their kits and you can’t get no help. i’m going to have is one air conditioning a microwave neither gonna be running 24 seven ADC fridge and refrigerator just trying to get some insights or what I need to do but I want it pretty much running off solar and battery storage

      @@EXPLORISTlife that’s what I’m trying to ask I have a 32 foot supposedly might 30 foot. Like I said, I’m gonna have mostly LDD. Lighting with a couple of 110 LED lighting air conditioning with soft start think it’s like 1400 W 13 ,500 ac A 10 cube, DC refrigerator and freezer in microwave a 110 convectional oven my stove, my hot water heater, and my furnace our propane. I live in Florida I do go to states that snow. I have lived in Oregon. I know. What I’m trying to figure out I have three roof vents and an AC unit. I took all day all going down the center of my room I removed or relocated my freshwater tank vet my black water vent and my gray water vet so they weren’t going through the roof. I’m leaving all the roof space for solar anywhere from around 8 to 10 solar panels. And that’s if I go with a pin on the size of solar panels they are. I’ve been looking at panels that you normally see on houses there are 540+ watts. And I’ve been watching a lot of your videos. And a lot of other video. I want to start getting solar panels up there and then work on my battery supply or battery bank. So with what I told you how much solar and how big a battery bank What I need or what one of your kits to get started. Cause even good solar panels like ones that I’ve been looking at 20 some year supposedly warranty 25 and blah blah blah are expensive. So if I wanted to put right now to lithium batteries to replace my batteries that were with the trailer and start getting me a solar system set up Put in my battery, bank and converters or whatever you wanna call them etc.. What one of your kits would be right for what I have just a small old trailer. Because I see all these different things 48 V 24 V 12 V I’m not trying to run the world off my DIY off grid solar and battery pack maybe a computer Basic things for two people. So if you could give me some kind of a kit to get started with on solar and recommend how much I’d have to have to make it happen I’d appreciate it. Very much and who knows I might have somebody install it. I can do all the solar panel stuff get them up there I’m a boilermaker by trade. I work on power plants and build them coal Fire and natural gas Oh I Don’t know shit about solar.lol

      Sure! The first thing you'll need to do is do a power audit to determine how much power you can anticipate using on a day-to-day basis. Here is a tutorial for that: ruclips.net/video/a406IxiU-Xg/видео.htmlsi=gbktY_WnRl-qvsG0
      This will tell you how much battery bank capacity and solar capacity you should have.
      From there, you can take that info and use our system picker found on the home page of our store, which will recommend a kit based on some additional questions.
