I know I'm in the minority but the original has always been my favorite of the series,but if you you were to ask me as to why......I really couldn't tell you one of my favorite reasons is that it all takes place in the same day IIRC.
My #1 would have been the days in the desert in Uncharted 3. It was so beautiful and immersive with Marlowe's voice playing in his head, and the mirage of Sully towards the end.

Ben Wasserman Yeah true. I think Rafe is by far the best villain because you can actually feel for him. He's been back stabbed three times from what we know, he's never achieved anything noteworthy and he just wants to be noticed. Best than psychotic lazaravic and 15 min boss Talbot.
I feel like the burning Chateau in Uncharted 3 deserves an honorable mention, too. There were so many cool scenes in that set piece - burning debris falling all around you as you battle enemy mooks, climbing your way out of the collapsing stairway into the flames and the part at the end where you run for your life as the tower collapses into the roof and the whole building caves in. Simply jaw-dropping stuff at such an early point in the game.

Uncharted 4 had better gun mechanics and parkour moments IMO. You'll shoot a guy in the head and won't die in Uncharted 2. The number of times Drake jumped off the train or climbed something I didn't want really ruined the experience. I played on the Uncharted collection btw. On normal.

Honestly the only scenes that really stood out for me in UC4 were the Elena and Drake playing Crash Bandicoot, the convoy chase, and the heist at the auction. The second half of the game was really forgettable imo.
Gotta go with convoy chase. No escape.libertalia extreme shoot out try completing this without a gun a normal life crash bandicoot and cassie drake. An honorable mention is dropping over a ledge in the finale to then see Averys ship. That was beautiful.

007: The Living Daylights had a plane hijack, as did The Dark Knight Rises. Then the game CoD: Ghosts had a plane hijack. Uncharted 3, Drake just winds up having back luck again and ends up accidentally/somewhat purposefully crashing the plane trying to defend himself. Similar, bot not entirely.

*SPOILERS FOR UNCHARTED 4* The Sam Pursuit in Madagascar, exploring Libertalia with Sam as we make our way to the Treasury, Elena patching up Drake as he tells her the whole truth about him, Nathan and Samuel's backstory, and the whole ending and resolution + epilogue are the great moments coming from Uncharted 4 that definitely would have made it onto this list. Terrific moments, and truly an epic game! Great list overall.
I can tell you why I disliked it: - Slow and boring plot, downer allies, lame villains - Return of paper mache Drake - Sluggish aiming - Unfair firefights - Plenty of graphical and sound glitches - Set pieces and chases feel less epic and they drag on way too long - Boring level design (though the jungle looked gorgeous) - Last level is the same as Uncharted 2 It is far from a bad game but Uncharted 2 left the bar so high that nothing in 3 could reach it.
Just finished this game today (Jan 2022), after finishing Uncharted 1 in 2019, 2 in 2020, and 3 in 2021; I now have the post video game depression! This intro is awesome as it summarizes the adventures before finishing the journey, also because it shows the events that happened between the Drake brothers’ separation and reunion. One of my top 5 video game series now!
One of my favorite set pieces IF not my fav is the burning manor in France. I loved everything about it. The graphics were so beautiful and although cliche to escape a burning building it was super intense.
I really liked meeting Salim and just him as a character in general. He is very helpful and is always there to secure you onto his horse in times of need -the horse chases were amazing- but I still like Uncharted 2 more!
I think because people didn't want to fall and just shoot him. Not entirely memorable. Maybe stabbing him and leaving him on the collapsing platform as he screams and falls, yeah, a little more satisfying.

One of my favourite moments was the ending of the mission in the village desert in Uncharted 3. Nate has crawled his way through a desert and managed to reach a town only to realise it's full of enemies. He fights his way through the town but is outnumbered and backed into a corner. As things look bleak horse riders show up and save your ass. Epic as fuck.
I think the moment when they find Shambala and the moment when they find Iram Of The Pillars should be on this list. The view just looks gorgeous and the feeling when you finally find them.

I’m a Xbox player at heart always will be but I grew up on both consoles luckily enough only because of this masterpiece right here hands down one of the best games with a movie like story I have ever played big big fan of the franchise. This game is worth every penny.

The tank battle in the village is the best imo. Gameplay, atmosphere and chaos => perfect.
I really liked meeting Salim and just him as a character in general. He is very helpful and is always there to secure you onto his horse in times of need -the horse chases were amazing- but I still like Uncharted 2 more!

I think because people didn't want to fall and just shoot him. Not entirely memorable. Maybe stabbing him and leaving him on the collapsing platform as he screams and falls, yeah, a little more satisfying.

One of my favourite moments was the ending of the mission in the village desert in Uncharted 3. Nate has crawled his way through a desert and managed to reach a town only to realise it's full of enemies. He fights his way through the town but is outnumbered and backed into a corner. As things look bleak horse riders show up and save your ass. Epic as fuck.
I think the moment when they find Shambala and the moment when they find Iram Of The Pillars should be on this list. The view just looks gorgeous and the feeling when you finally find them.

For me my number one Uncharted moment is a tie between the final boss battle with Zoran Lazarevic and Nadine Ross turning on Rafé Adler.

Personal Favourite moment is the sequence after the plane crash in three were drake stumbles thorugh the desert just tripping balls! Its spectacular

I thought the second one was the best... And I have played all of Naughty Dogs games! So I have experience with the developers. The other uncharted games were good but the second one is remarkable!!! Best game ever, in my top 3 battlefield 3 then Uncharted 2 then COD 4
+5hockeyman14 you are definitely entitled to your opinion. As a connesseur of Naughty Dog games myself, I agree that it is a great game. I do not, however think it overshadows the other two games the way this list would indicate.

I’m a Xbox player at heart always will be but I grew up on both consoles luckily enough only because of this masterpiece right here hands down one of the best games with a movie like story I have ever played big big fan of the franchise. This game is worth every penny.
