There are a lot of players that might have fit this title, but Muller's game was certainly varied and interesting. Nick certainly seemed to respect it; he makes it very clear when he doesn't respect the opponent's game!
I don’t think that muller played boring tennis, he hit some good winners. I also love seeing serve and volley players. But Kyrgios just played insane tennis
He has an entertaining playstyle! From my perspective, the number of titles matters in a debate about who the more accomplished player is, or the Goat or whatever if you like these sort of discussion. But if I'm watching a match, those facts don't really add to my viewing experience in a significant way. When I watched the French Open Final in 2015, I was rooting for Wawrinka not because he was the underdog or I didn't want Djokovic to win another slam, I was simply in awe at the prospect of an ultra aggressive offensive player, beating a Goat revered for his defensive prowess. It's simply a spectacle. It's also not about personality. Djokovic is pretty likeable in my book and the only one in the big 3 with a sense of humour. I was rooting for him in the 2023 AO, because he was always the active player, and displayed decisive aggression whenever he had a chance. His forehand is actually a great weapon! Very versatile, precise and he can hit it with a lot of flattened out power if he chooses to.
