Out of the few lines I've fully grinded, the Corsair line really was the most enjoyable throughout. While the hellcat was, as its name says, hell, the F4U1, F4U4, F2G and Starfire are generally easy and fun to grind through (Unlike the prop Lavochkins or the 109F). Too bad the unspecced Cutlass ain't the best, but I've heard that when specced it becomes much better, so there's that
I agree with all this. I loved the Corsairs from the get go, F2G is great (although in current meta it can struggle sometimes) and F94D is just the most fun. F7U was not fun when I first got it but after I adjusted my playstyle I've really started to enjoy it
Great, as always Postal. I love this plane, and this line. Play to their strengths and you can dominate a match.

Tier 6, 8, 9 and 10 of this line are just too nice and worth keep them. Amazing firepower for each plane and a good variety for each tier makes this tech tree a must for those who also enjoy attackers like me: outboard weapons are also really effective starting from tier6 and the tier8 is even more fun with that 1 SUPER BOMB. Just go for it!

The other day, I flew in s battle with you in this plane. Thought I might have made the video, but alass, no. I was in my P38N. Some day, I'll make the cut! I always enjoy your videos. Very helpful to my gameplay...I've re watched quite a few, as well.

I've loved the Corsair since I was a kid. I'm on the -4 in WoWP now. I actually switched from rockets to bombs on the advice of LMG - the two bombs can take out the special target in Command Centers, which means that this MRF can, theoretically, single handedly flip a CC. I don't know if the -1 has the same bombs in game. Downside is LMG says you're stuck with rockets once you spec it.
I think this line will be the first one I get to Tier 10....which at my current rate should be sometime in 2026 LOL.
🤣 well the F2G has a big bomb plus rockets, so win win. Plus it's faster
This plane looks kinda odd, but also beautiful at the same time👀 and definitely a fun plane
The 'gull wings' we're used out of necessity, it allowed for larger engines to be used while still being able to utilize a flight deck
It was about the size of the prop...they had to lower the wing to make the landing gear long enough so the prop didnt hit the ground, and the legs of the landing gear werent too " spindly long"
This one went to specialized status with no pain and then the XP54 went out and you're his favourite food in Corsair... On european server it's nearly impossible to find a game without it.
A damn shame. I have been running into some XP-54s that don't seem to pay much attention though, recently. Been able to get the jump on them but not easy
my favorite line. I disagree with you on how to use the rockets though. The rockets are powerful enough to take out any of the small armored targets with a single hit. so you can take two of all but the large ground targets with the 8 missiles.

Seeing that there is a few thousand active players per server, and new planes coming out once in a while, no, WoWP is not dead
