As the great figure rises he strides slowly towards you, a smile slowly spreading across his face. With every step, a great ghostly orchestra plays music so moving that it makes the very air around you shiver and dance.
“Do you hear that?” He asks. He raises a hand to his ear, a slow smile forming.
“THAT is my weapon. Every strum of a violin is the slice of a sword, every tinkle of a piano key the falling of arrows, the thunderous beating of the drums a war hammer. With every strike of my fingers it is the great crashing of thunder that shakes the air. My music made physical manifestation; the beating of your heart, the shallow breath that fills and empties your lungs. It surrounds you, it fills you.”
With every step of the mighty composer the ghostly music swells in intensity. His hands move through the air, the spectral music following in tune to his movements; a commander of sound. He is not a mere maker of music, you think. He IS music.
As he stands before you, the waves of beautiful noise rolling off of him, all you can do is to kneel in his presence, a mere mortal before a god. As you bow your head in respect you flinch as you feel a hand upon your shoulder, gentle yet powerful as the crashing of waves upon the shoreline. And then, you feel it. The music; it becomes a part of you. Now you can feel what the mighty composer felt as he created those masterpieces. You feel your soul has transcended this earthly realm and attained a higher plane of existence. THIS was the power of music; the power of Beethoven.
You finally understand what this god of music means. As tears of joy roll down your face, he speaks.
“Well done my acolyte.” Notes of pride of in his voice fill your soul, stoking the very fires within you.
“What you have created here will transcend barriers and the boundaries of space and time. Mere mortal men shall weep at its beauty and you, YOU will be seen for what you have created.”

    Jazz. Rock. Rap. Country.
Long ago, the four genres lived together in harmony. Then, everything changed when the Rappers attacked. Only the Composer, master of all four genres, could stop them, but when the world needed him most, he vanished. A hundred years passed and my brother and I discovered the new Composer, a country singer named Aang, and although his square dancing skills are great, he has a lot to learn before he's ready to save anyone. But I believe... Aang can save the industry.

There is just something about Beethoven’s life that is inspiring, almost all of his songs are not aimlessly made, he made them to reflect his past and his present. His music is a reflection of himself. And based of this music his life musta been pretty INTENSE

    • @theSheighani42
      @theSheighani42 3 года назад +9

How a composer child's life was back then would break many modern (at least American) ADULTS into sobbing messes. They were often cruelly treated, beaten, tied and starved, until they pleased their teachers/fathers. It WAS intense. Not EVERY composer went through that, thankfully. But man, people screaming 'abuse, ABUUUUUSE!!!' over every tiny little thing these days when it comes to kids, know NUUUUTHING... 🙄 sadly, I think Beethoven was one of those kids stuck in music boot camp from Hell

Just a heads up, this is long as my brain tends to string many things together. Entirely your choice to read, or not.
I can't help that that happened to you, I was merely pointing out a fact about what many genius composers, (or geniuses in general, or just those expected to be so), went through. What many spoiled individuals don't realize, and would be unable to stand. My comment regarding people going overboard claiming 'abuse!' was NOT about the people themselves who had been abused. While I highly doubt knowing what you had experienced would scar me, I'm sorry to hear it still hurts you to this day. I myself had been psychologically manipulated and controlled, for most my life. While I do acknowledge it's 'less' than what others have been through, gaslighting and isolation are still abuse.
That comment had been about OTHER people who point fingers and judge on what's not their business, to the point where genuine discipline, however light, becomes 'abuse' from their mouths. So while I'm sincerely sad to hear your own experiences still torment you to that extent, to where you are still quite aware while reading comments, please also read them carefully. It was not directed against actual victims, in any way.
I didn't force you to read my comment, and just as you wish me to consider the feelings of others whom I know nothing about, please also acknowledge you don't know anything about myself as well. Part of what I had been through is that my own thoughts had no importance. That I was irrelevant, and understood nothing. That I had to give way to the feelings and preferences of others regardless of my own emotional and mental health. IE, I was raised to be a doormat who was expected to bend backwards and get tromped on by everyone else. And smile and feel like I was being a 'good person' because of my pathetic existence being to serve everyone else. Because that was 'being considerate of their feelings'... All that aside, I didn't go into extreme detail in my original comment, I didn't mention to what extent it would happen.
So while I do respect that my words could have brought up bad memories, and it's truly unfortunate you still fight those battles in your dreams...it is not required of me to cater to everyone else's expectations and demands anymore. Not my duty to please everyone and debase myself for their own comfort and ego. If someone doesn't like my comments, they have the freedom of choice and right to block or report me. Or just not read my comment at all. I generally try to be relatively neutral in my comments, and I've found that the people who tend to get themselves in a heated bother at my comments usually are the ones who just point fingers at others and stick with common insults as their responses. Without any actually-reasonable discussion points. And somewhere there's a saying about how the things we get the most angry at in others comes from what we don't like in ourselves.
But I dunno. After all, I know nothing, if what I've heard most my life is to be believed 🤷‍♀️ you may also choose to look down on me as knowing nothing, understanding nothing, and invalidate my own thoughts and experiences as useless; just like what I had growing up and even still have to deal with today - just, very much thankfully, to a lesser extent. That is your choice, and your freedom to do so.
I hope the rest of your day can be more uplifting than a potential argument with a complete stranger on RUclips. Be safe.

@@hitoshishinsou9192 He could hear, actually-for the majority of his life, anyways. He started losing his hearing in his late 20s; but only became completely deaf when he was 44/45. For reference, he died when he was 56; he finished his 9th Symphony when he was 53; and he started composing when he was around 12 years old.
So yeah, he could certainly hear for quite the while! When he started going deaf, he actually started isolating himself from everyone else; pretended to be rude rather than admit he hadn’t heard something. And… he genuinely believed that it would end his career if the public found out. As he said in a letter: “how could I possibly admit an infirmity in the one sense which ought to be more perfect in me than others?”

@@caelum860 I know what caused him to lose his hearing. It is happening to me as well but with modern technology I can still hear his music. What causes this is the stapies bone in your ear to get a calcium build up that stops it from moving. Over time you slowly lose your hearing and all you hear is a permanent ring in your ears. We now can fix this but what I was told is I will still lose my hearing. I'm glad to hear the world but knowing that everyone's voices will fade is a blessing and a curse.
