- I can't believe I am finally watching this show! It came out when I was 15 years old and at the time I wasn't allowed to watch shows like Supernatural, because it was "demonic" But here we are!
I had no idea Sam and Deans father was Negan himself Mister Jeffery Dean Morgan! What a lovely surprise~
I totally fell in love with both Sam and Dean Winchester this episode. But I am partial to Dean (Heart eyes) I am totally invested and need to know more!

You can't make assumptions like that on this show. Something killed mom. Something killed Jess. Two similar events may be related, but they don't have to be a curse.
A lot of people makes assumption when they're watching a show, it's either they're right about what they assume or they're not.

Aye, those first 5 are really damn good. I was binge watching, and just didn't want to stop. I need to go back and try and finish the rest, I got through 6 and part of 7, but I just didn't enjoy it.

@@mightyreborn8071 Yeah I gunderstand that. I watched it in real time till Season 11 (or 12?), but more out of nostalgia. There were better seasons, worst seasons... it was just never the same after season 5.

Dean Winchester is definitely one of the best characters in the history of tv for sure ❤️
Dean was my favorite character for long time, then at the end of the series he turned out to be my second favorite, now most favorite is Castiel

Best show ever made. Not every episode is amazing but I was never bored watching it. Get ready for some great performances, plenty of laughter, and tears.

"It's a feel good show" ...I don't think any show has destroyed me as hard or as many times as Supernatural lol.
This was a really great show, but I'm one of those that feels the early seasons were the best. Seasons 1 through...probably 5 or 6 are where it was strongest in my opinion. It felt like it went on too long after that and became even more complicated and began to drag on. They weren't *bad*, but the earlier ones just felt superior. Especially the 1st and 2nd season. I love the handful of episodes that begin the 1st season because I felt they were creepy, well acted, and give a great introduction into the world. The next one in particular is one of my favorites in the whole series.

Glad you're watching this! as a warning the streaming version of supernatural has the classic rock stripped out of it for the first couple of seasons. not a big deal for other shows but it's a big part of this show. I would recommend either finding blu ray rips or looking up some scenes on youtube. in-a-gadda-da-vida and dont fear the reaper are the biggest scenes that come to mind.
Even from the first episode it makes a huge difference. When Dean's puts the tape in the car and drives off its meant to play Back in Black.

Constance did kill her kids that's why she was scared to face her kids. I feel sorry for the guy because he was so sure she wouldn't do that.

Supernatural is my ultimate comfort show, I grew up with it as I was around 15 when it started and watched til it ended and by then I was 30. I've spent over half my life with The Winchesters and I don't regret one second of it. #Spnfamily

What a lovely surprise for us! I absolutely love this show. I think you'll be amazed at some of the mythology/lore they came up with/use for the show. Not every episode is a monster-of-the-week. There will be plot points that carry throughout seasons and episodes, but at first, it is a lot of monster-of-the-week. You'll see as it goes, it gets more and more intricate and serious, but there are always lighter episodes and lighter moments.
I've never understand religious families denying their children watching something like this because it's "demonic"... They're literally fighting and killing the demons!

Supernatural is a great show and long one too.. 15 seasons, 20-22 episodes each season wich means 300+ episodes.. It took me 4 months to get through the show..
This show basically has the biggest fan cult following so get ready for the sea of views and subs you’ll get from reacting to it. 😄
This series is great! Personally I prefer seasons 4-10 but it's all really good.

Edit: I grew up on Buffy and Charmed but when this came out I was too scared to watch it. As a Chicano the Llorana's(lady in white) story always scared me, so I said "No Thanks" 😅

I was born in 2001, and this series started in 2002. Basically, this series is my childhood.
I don't know if you know, but in my country, one of the most famous legends is of a woman who murders her children in the river, out of fury at her husband's infidelity; she ends up being sentenced to eternally wander the river to search for them. It's called "La Llorona."

You should definitely add "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and "Smallville" too. Some of the Smallville cast and Supernatural cast used to hangout since they were filmed at the same area and both on the CW at overlapping times.
The relationship between the brothers only go better, as the seasons moved on. This is because the relationship between Jared "SAM" Padalecki and Jensen "DEAN" Ackles, reflected in Real Life, the same closeness as the brothers have in the show.
When they first started filming, both being from Texas they ended up, house sharing, and they're bond grew, to the point where they actually regard each other as brothers in RL now.
You would think that flying up to Canada to film all week long, according to them, it takes about 8 days to film an episode, and there's roughly 20 - 22 episodes per season, and they also have to do so many conventions around the world per year too, as well as find the time to raise their families, you would think that, come the hiatus of the show every year, that they would've had enough of each other. But no, they spend time together off set, as well as on it, they were groomsmen for each other, when they both married their beautiful wives, the same year. Jensen/Dean was originally living in LA, after he married, he and his family moved to Austin Texas, where Jared/Sam and his family were living, to be closer to them.
Even their wives and kids all hang out together too!

I'm not sure if you plan to keep on going with the show, but if you do I would recommend releasing reactions to multiple episodes per video. 2-4 episodes per video would probably flow fell

Back in 2005 I remember watching promos for this show on the WB, but I never watched it. Cut to '07 me and my brothers decide to watch it one night and the show is on their 3rd season at this point and me and my brothers got hooked on the show we would watch a new episode every Thursday night. It was a time where I remember bonding with my brothers cause of this show. I have two older bothers and I'm the youngest and my eldest bro calls my other bro Sammy with that Dean voice sometimes and my bro gets mad and says no I'm Dean lol.

S2 is my all time favourite seasons. The later seasons are good too but early spn as the classic monsters. Dont wanna say too much for spoilers

Interesting fact: The legend of La Llorona(the crying woman) is about Malinche a native woman Hernan Cortez had children with, when he returned to Spain he abandoned her and their children, and because she was an outcast from the other natives because she had a relationship with their oppressor and the Spanish colonials treated her like crap for being a native, she drowned her kids to "save" them from that suffering and lost her mind, at nights she walked outside around town crying and calling for her kids, and after she died she could still be heard at night crying for her kids. and that is a very well known example of a woman in white ghost. And a sad reminder of things that happened in colonial times.

I loved this series!!! And like you, Dean is the best and so damn cute!! As you continue to watch the series you will notice that they made one episode a season that was very comedic and sometimes even silly but funny. I liked how they did that.
