AHH schools back in session, I'm already falling behind. I always look forward to your videos. The info you also provide on the companies is kind of you. I and I'm sure most of your other regulars sure do appreciate it.
And none of them have ever reached out to me, but you never know. I'm just trying to keep it honest and helpful. I could bad mouth a few vendors but choose to instead protest with the retraction of my wallet.
Thanks! It's at this stage that you learn when all the plans of a year or two ago looked good at the time but cause something else to have to be done later to fix it. That's sort of where I'm at right now.
Hello Bill, some spiffy looking headers. Nice with the ceramic coating. Headers get looking pretty ratty as the years go by, but these should keep looking good for years to come. Thanks for the update on Christine!
My old headers were so bad that I patched them with sheet metal here and there to fix rusted pinholes. Those must have been very old. They had a 4-bolt collector flange.
A very nice set of headers. I've done my share with wrestling with headers and have scarred knuckles to show for it. The 56 is looking slick, sir. I love your videos. Like I said earlier, you are showing me all the things I did wrong during my builds.
Sadly, it's been so hot this summer that we barely took it out. I've been running it every couple of weeks but I really need to get it out and about before Cruisin' the Coast next month. Last thing I want to do is have it break down for something silly.
I used Sanderson on my ‘56 ford with a 289. The ceramic coating has held up really well for a couple years and the silicon ‘gaskets’ haven’t leaked. I’m sure you’ll really like them
When I applied the 1/8" bead, it was uneven. I couldn't imagine that they wanted you to leave it like that, so I smeared it to flatten it a little. Then as I'm tossing out the box, there are the instructions and it clearly wanted a complete bead. I hope it doesn't leak!
It really flattens out when you tighten it so hopefully you had all the material on there and it’s fully sealed. Pretty easy fix if not. Keep up the great work!
Yes! It's a WAY too big Edelbrock Torker Plus with over 230 degrees duration and about 0.488 lift. I advanced it 2 degrees when I put it back in, figuring it would help the bottom end on this low displacement motor and small runners on the heads.
Looks like I got deleted ... can't remember what I said ... I think I would try getting the starter out when the header is on ... remember the original 265 had the dump in the front to allow getting the starter out ... the new bells just bolt up from the bottom ...
It's going to be interesting to see what the exhaust shop does to clear that side. The header collectors on the exhaust side have an angle to them to help transition it out of the way. I've got a very good shop that I plan to use. We'll see!
I am trying to add Power Steering to my 1957, 210, 2 Door Sedan. Is your car a Manuel Trans Car? Mine is 4 Speed, Super T-10. Linkage style, "Z" bar Clutch. Tight as a Cat's Ass in there. Advice? Observations, you can share ? What style Power Steering Box are you running? Will there be a conventional Power Steering Pump Mounted on front of Motor? Like yours, all my front Sheet metal is Removed.Inner /Outer Fenders etc. Motor is to be a 400 Small Block. Freddie
Closer everyday 🎉
Yes indeed.
Nice job on the headers. They really look good.
Hopefully they won't LEAK!

And they look even better when bolted on!
Looking great! Nice when your plan comes together!! Really enjoying your videos!!

Oh, don't worry... I'm making PLENTY of mistakes! I'll definitely have to make a number of "hindsight being 20/20" videos, that's for sure!
@@RestoringChristine1956 YES! 100% You need to do a bloopers video at some point. That would be awesome!
Love the channel and that olds love that one i had a 1970 rallye 350 miss it

Nice fit nice touch with the ceramic coating! Thx!
I'm hoping they stay like that and I'm praying that the silicone doesn't leak!
nice fit
Sweet and simple. Let the exhaust guys figure out how to clear the rest.
Have a set on my 55bel air love them
@@DougScriver I'm looking forward to not having the collectors drag the ground when I roll into a parking lot!
@@RestoringChristine1956 absolutely love it
I'm gonna look at their site to see if they make a set for my 427 in my 56! Great video!
@@MagaRickn I'm sure they do. But they probably have specific fits that they know about that aren't necessarily listed.
@@RestoringChristine1956 Sounds like a phone call is in order. ;)

Bill, Any ideas on what cam was in the 307?

dont like the short tubes
It's not my first choice, but this seemed to be what made the best sense for what I was trying to do.
