It's crazy how expensive headers are these days. It's really hard to justify spending over $400 for a set of headers. For a set of hooker c10 longtubes is $500 non plated, that's ridiculous for some tubing welded together and if the vehicle lives outside after a few years they will rust away and get pinholes. For most stock to lightly modified cars and trucks I would stay with the best exhaust manifold you could find, they are alot more reliable and dont blow gaskets out 24/7. I have used a few sets of those flowtech headers for a gbody and that round port header flange is very picky about what gaskets to use, I actually found using a set of felpro exhaust manifold gaskets actually worked decent on them.
Everything is expensive these days! What’s craY is those Holley brands are all made off shore now. Normally that’s makes for some better pricing but even that is out of control these days. I’ll look at those gaskets. I’ve used Remflex with great luck over the years. If they don’t work I’ll for sure check out the felpro ones.
I love it. Have the dual O2 one also. The wireless ability is just awesome. Pretty nice to go back and forth from under hood to driving and keep a constant eye on the ratio. Expensive though!
Great info , im running these headers on my 87 442 with a SB 355, so far seem decent no problems. I had to smash the passenger side to clear the frame.
Pretty common unfortunately. I’d imagine there are a lot of little details that can make a perfect fit impossible. Glad to hear you’re having no issues! First time using this brand for me.
Great video.👍 The nicest pair I've ever bought were JBA's for a mustang that I had 15 years ago.
It’s hard to spend so much on headers but man buying the really cheap ones are just frustrating!

Walker Turbo mufflers have the flow without hurting your wallet.:)
I've had good luck with flowtech headers
Glad to hear that. First use for me. We’ll see how they fit here in a few months when the rebuilt engine goes in.
@@MuscleCarSolutions they fit perfect on a old swb 82 c10 350/350 I used to have
The trucks seem to have more room/forgiveness on fitment. Thanks for the info! I couldn’t find many negative comments/reviews on fitment.
You could’ve got them shipping free ordering them through O’Reilly right to their store
Flow tech is the brand that O’Riley carries
Your rear main seal is bad on your motor
Oh I wish that was all that was wrong with it. 😂 I did a video a month ago showing just how bad it is. 😂 Rebuild is coming soon!
