Thank you so much for taking the time to show aspiring enthusiasts your skills and techniques while also explaining your experience. I've learned almost everything thing I know about mold making and hand laying fiberglass here on this channel.
Another great video Bill. Certainly the most informative fibre glass channel on RUclips... This wing reminds me of working on the Mac T surf boards in the old Rumours clothing factory near the Wool Store. They had a foam core with an ABS shell that had a semi exposed seem which had to be filled before painting. I spent months of R& D trying a paintable filler that would flex with the board.
Thanks Bill, mate you are a living legend inspiring us to get in and have a red hot go - what you don’t know about fibreglassing? isn’t worth knowing. Everything you have shown us makes it possible to follow in your footsteps. You are a Bloody legend.
I like that wedge you are using. I used to spray foam or inject liquid foam for insulating homes, it is no joke its expanding traits are similar to hydraulics.
Love your show it's been sometime wish I lived out there I love to get a hands on an learn all you know
