Minus the special operations community, the Eagle MMAC/ LBT 6094 are somewhat selpt on in comparison to the newer stuff like the JPC and FCPC which is a modern MMAC lol.
Both of those plate carriers have a tendency to be bulky setups. I've ran them in the past and although they are good and very functional systems they are not the best.
solid info thank you. What do you do when your plates are 9.5” x 11.5 and it seems all PCs are 10x12? Do you know of any "snugger" fitting platte bags on the market? Thanks!@@LegionPreparedness
If the plate carrier is setup for a 10x12 I would recommend just running the 10x12 plate otherwise there are some weird fitment issues. Ferro, Skeletac, Spiritus and a handful of other companies make plate carriers specific to the 10x12 and larger plates. Its one of those things you just have to pay attention to and really think about. "Is it worth buying a larger plate carrier or do I want to go with a Crye, TYR, S&S, or other company that will provide a plate carrier that will accommodate the correct plate size you need. @@TheColtLockwoodRealm
I'm not sure if you have this carrier or not, but if not, a more structural alternative is the Spiritus three band with FS tubes. Certainly less stretchy and comfortable than these, but more rigid and perfect for side plate usage.
@@LegionPreparedness If you use that c-bund adapter with shock cord, you can get a snug fit that resists shifting while moving, but with enough stretch to breath comfortably

Thank you so much! I really appreciate the info. Gear is a complex subject LOL. @@LegionPreparedness
Do they make adapters so I can use any cummerbund?
Any recommendations for side plate pouches with this cummerbund. I have this cummerbund but it sags a lot with side plates even after adjusting it.
I don’t unfortunately

@@JackTagar thanks for the info I’m going to go buy one lol
