Love the build. My only real complaint being that you can't construct this "stone age" house in-game until at least the copper age because it requires a saw and chisel.
Thank you! That's true, but it doesn't necessarily have to be a complete starter house. You can start with clay and hay, and in later stages improve and beautify your house with support beams and chiseling. It's hard to build something nice without tools. The name of the series "Stone Age" is only the name and inspiration for the construction of this house and does not reflect everything perfectly. I'm trying to build simple houses, but without basic tools it's difficult because no one needs a guide on how to build a house or mud hut from dirt or cobblestones.
@@Czarls For sure, and my apologies if that came off as criticism. It was more a complaint about the game design and how limited a player is, creatively, in the very early game as opposed to the options which open up later on.
Could justify it as late stone age/early copper age - the time when humans were still using a majority stone tools, but a few were beginning to use copper and such
I love it, another way to do a neolithic roundhouse build. I made a hill fort like this once in survival. Gives me some ideas on what to chisel if I ever decide to do that again. For refrence incase anyone is interested: the walls were covered by the roof and made of light mudbrick, thenroof extended into thatnwierd proch structure celtic roundhouses have, mine was 13 x13 with rounded block edges instead of it being square, I used haybayles instead of fired clay for the roof supports, and I didn't have the supports on the outside, instead opting for primitive fencing outside the doors. The interior was also completley different with a centeral firepit.
This is an excellent design. Thank you for taking my suggestion! If you ever plan to do more "primitive" designs, which I'd love to see, you could utilize mud bricks? I haven't found a way to make them not look ugly and repetitive, while still looking naturalistic and ancient. I have an idea for a new build. You know those ancient settlements built inside the sides of mountains? Namely, Cliff Palace, USA; Guyaju - China; Maijishan Grotto’s - China; Bandiagara Escarpment - Mali, and Otuzco Caves - Peru, came to mind. Perhaps a neolithic cave home could be a unique creative endeavor! Bandiagara Escarpment is my favorite because of the roofing material. It gives it variety. As for your furniture chiseling videos, neolithic furniture would fit in a nice niche. I've compiled some neolithic era inspired furniture ideas, if you would find any to be interesting: 1. Stone Shelves 2. Clay Table 3. Clay Seating 4. Neolithic Bedframe 5. Log Seating 6. Stone Seating There's plenty of reference images to find on Google. As always, love your vids and community engagement.
Thank you for your kind words and lots of great ideas for new videos! I will definitely use these ideas. I am very grateful and appreciate this commitment to the development of the channel!
Amazing build, i like the simpler and more survival friendly builds. Also, im a huge fan of medieval 2-story town buildings, i would love to see you build some of those medieval type buildings, similar how you did the small blacksmith shop.
Thank you for the kind words! I'm glad you like it! There will be many more simple, survival-friendly houses from the Stone Age. Medieval buildings planned for the end of next week. Several people have already written about it, so stay tuned 😉
Yes, I think that without support beams and chiseling, it will be easy to build, and then you can simply embellish and improve it. Thank you for the kind words! ❤️
You should try to make houses for every age/improve upon this style, and with each new age everything should get bigger and better, Age of Empires style
Just so everyone knows, you can literally just take any Minecraft Build tutorial and transfer it over to vintage story, You just need to supplement certain blocks with blocks of your choosing.
Thank you. It doesn't have to be a starter house at the beginning of the game. You can build a smaller one with less hay and clay, or just clay, and improve, beautify, and expand your house over time. We know that at the beginning we don't have many tools and we won't use support beams or a chisel for chiseling. This is just a Stone Age inspiration, not a guide on how to build a perfectly and quickly starter house. I don't think anyone needs a guide here on how to build a mud hut from the dirt without using any tools.

@@Adam-gk2mg It's okay, don't apologize, I didn't mean to sound offensive either. It's true, there are many limitations, unfortunately
I think this style of building was used far into the roman period by the celtic tribes
Oh wow. I wouldn't expect that pretty house in stone age 😊
Thank you! Nice to hear that 😊

Yeaah, there are many types of Neolithic houses, this is the first one I built in the game, so I'm glad you like it!
Finally, a cool beginner house I can build fairly early on!
Awesome work yet again, Czarls!
Thank you very much! Nice to hear that! Stone Age Starter Houses will now appear more frequently 😉

Nice starter house! Basically all of these materials can be gathered from day 1
Thank you! I'm glad you like it! The idea was to make it as easy and fast as possible 😉
Oooh now this should be a series of builds I'll love, I really enjoy historical stuff and you've got a creative knack for realistic structures!
I'm glad to hear that, thank you!
This really Unga's my Bunga.

Yessss Neolithic! I love roundhouses!
Stay tuned, there will be more soon!
That could be considered a starter house in Vintage story, right. I love your videos Czarls, keep it up 💕

Thank you for the tips, I will try to implement it
I would to see more of these historical kinds of houses. Something like a 9th century Anglo-Saxon house
There will be more soon, stay tuned
Выглядит так мило. Спасибо! Разные стили в постройке это тяжело. Вы молодец!
Thank you! Yeah, I get a lot of ideas of different styles from viewers, but I treat it as a challenge and a great way to develop my imagination
Outstanding again! 👍🏻
What a vibe! 🥰🙌🏻

ooga booga me see big hut

It’s beautiful ❤❤❤
Thank you! ❤️
is it possible to have hide rugs without entering copper age?
Unfortunately not

Exactly 🫡
I love the look but this is HUGE for early game. You'd be spending too much time just getting dry grass.
