- In this video I am going to show how to use the main features of this Mercedes-Benz GLC 300 AMGLine 4MATIC SUV Premium Plus. I am going to focus on the infotainment and some other really useful features of this GLC Premium Plus which has all of the bells and whistles.
This video is perfect if you have just bought the new GLC or if you are thinking about buying one.

@@DrSaahbthanks for the reply! Unfortunately that didn’t help. I already have that feature turned off. I think that feature normalizes the volume intensity between different sources of music/songs

I'm picking mine up next week -- I can't tell you how helpful these videos were in advance of my test drive! I really had a chance to play around with all the features and get a sense of it. KEEP THE VIDEOS LONG AND PACKED WITH INFORMATION!

What specification did you go for?
I've purchased the current model (2022) with all the options, but it won't be delivered until after the update arrives down under (May), Mercedes have given me the option to change the purchase to the new model once the prices are released next week. I've got no doubt that I will take that option especially after watching your video. I love tech and the new screen is amazing.

Hi! I cannot figure out how to disable the radio volume lowering when stopping for a stop sign and other volume adjustments. It seems it is a character flaw in this model. Do you have any tips?
Thanks for the comment. Watch this video from 7:05 and around 10:50 there is a feature called “Loudness Normalisation”, switch this off and let me know if this resolves your issue.

What should I do if the car arrives without certain ordered options? What compensation other than money can I ask from the dealer?
Thanks for the comment. To be honest I am not sure but I would recommend you talk to the dealer you bought your car from. I am sure they will want to resolve this issue for you.
You didn’t show the back seat. Does it have a usb c or connectivity back there

Does the augmented reality works on the Heads up Display as well ?
Thanks for the comment. No the augmented reality does not work on the Heads-up Display but you do get directional prompts. You also get the prompts on the drivers instrument cluster too.

Definitely in the future! Usually S-Class technology trickles down to other models.
I’ve collected my 2023 GLC 300e AMG Line Premium Plus but I have no LED LIGHTS in the air vents or the option of climate within the ‘comfort’ menu …! Is this an error on the options? Or is it not a standard option of the Premium Plus ? Not getting much help from Mercedes Stourbridge …. Thanks in advance

Allot of people have messaged me about this feature. It does appear that ambient lights in the vents is not available. This also appears to be not an option in other countries.

Thanks for the informative videos 👍. Do u know if the cameras act as a dash cam? For example, in the event of an accident do they automatically record?
Really good question. I should have mentioned it in the video but if you get a usb storage stick, then connect it to your car, you should be able to then use the camera as a dashcam.
@@DrSaahb brilliant, thanks for your answer. I will have look further into it i think. Much better to be able to use the factory fitted cameras as a dashcam rather than installing another camera if its capable of doing the job. Some of these new camera systems also help when turning out of blind junctions. Im not sure the mercedes cameras offer this though. I have just ordered a Glc so I will be trying to get mercedes to confirm exactly what the cameras are capable of offering. Thanks again 👍
It should save any pictures on the infotainment of incidents when the car is parked but you will need to have a USB memory stick to record while driving. Check out this video from Goks Car Lounge for more information 😊

You can change the views of seeing certain cameras but I have never used it for looking round a blind corner. The videos I recorded should show you all of the things the cameras on the new GLC can do, in terms of what you can see on the cameras.

Your satnav information section suffers from fast finger! Difficult to know what button you are going to press as your hand glides over the list followed by even faster sub menue darting around. Slow up a bit please.
