Nice this is how I use to teach newbe programmers years back. I called them preset focus so it was easy to build other looks fast and on the go . Great work and keep it up .
Hi David my name is Mark (Dok) Hanson. I have been watching your videos nice work . I am retired from over 35 years of moving light programming and lighting design in touring , video and tv. I have been a teacher and have ran many boards like Veri Lites, Martin, Hog, Grand Ma and ETC. if you ever need any help of any kind in your programing in your videos please give me a call I love teaching . Right now I am using Mydmx 3.0 and having lots of fun lighting bar bands .
Hey Dok, this post got my attention. I'm interested in lights for my solo show, and for a production company idea for a friend of mine. Do you have an email address where I can drop you a line?
Dok you seem like a good to guy when it comes to lighting and that's from your array of board know how , too bad am in Africa but I would've reached out
Very nice. I generally like to program separate presets for pan and tilt and then mix them together into linked/embedded presets, kind of like you did with the sky position. I'll have fan in, fan out, Xs, straight and wings for the pan and upstage, downstage, blinder and sky for the tilt. This way if I want a fan upstage, it's just two buttons away ...
Thanks for this!! I just did a two day training session on jands vista basics. Now i have an idea of where to begin! Can you recommend something in depth, tutorials, or books?
+Olamide Tedimola This was done with a visualizer called GrandMA 3d. Now, the bad news is that this visualizer ONLY works with their Grand MA lighting console. The visualizer I use now and recommend is Capture: www.capturesweden.com/
Hy can you post a video on how to make these programs using dmx and control individual lights and is there any way to download the programed fixtures and use it to other dmx for moving heads. I really need to learn how to program moving heads . Thank you !!
