Having my 5th baby and this entire video I just sat here saying "yessssss " this lady knows her shit js
I changed my baby's diaper right away so he never sat in his urine or poop. He never got a rash. I did the same thing when working at a day care. Baby's came in with rash but always got better when I changed them right away. Just a tip to try because it works.

I can't live without nursing pillow, body pillow, pillows lots of pillows, coffee, lol but for baby ....diaper caddy (just got a oragnizer from dollar tree) , aquaphor ointment, burp rags, swaddles, bath mat (ordered from wish it's great and comfy), gas drops and the nose bulb thing but I use it to get the spit up out of her mouth really help so she doesn't choke .... that's what I can think of off the top of my head hope it helps

I love the Hello Bello diapers and the wipes, but I have been using the All Good diapers also found at Walmart for a fraction of the cost, but still use the Hello Bello wipes!

@@amyestacado I think it’s a great idea just make sure it’s boxes of diapers that you can exchange for another size if your baby grows out of that size quickly you can just exchange for a bigger one. I would get more of size 2 and 3 those are the sizes you will use the most. Newborn and size 1 can be grown out of quicker so only need a few of these.

I found that when my babies had a rash a simple washer and warm water was better then any wipe. I'm pregs with baby #4 and I still find them so useful to prep. My 3rd was a prem so such a different experience thats why I'm getting a refresher since my 2nds full term baby almost 5 years ago. Thanks so much x

Pampers aqua pure wipes are a dupe for the water wipes, same ingredients and all and they cost way less than water wipes
Pampers Aqua Pure wipes have significantly more ingredients than Water Wipes so I wouldn’t say they have the same ingredients.

Good video it’s nice to watch different people and hear different options, regarding grape water if you girls read that just do your research because I’m watching one girl who is educated in baby birth etc education and she says to avoid grape water because has sodium(ingredients) and if you use too much is not good for baby kidneys don’t forget baby organs grows , she saws massages and exercises for colics that’s better ;) I think less it’s better ;) our parents did it r we it with less things on the market 😊
I already hoarded some of this stuff! Yay I was on the right track. I told my family about the nose Frida and they were grossed out and said nope. I am not so squeamish bc I've seen them hassle with their babies noses and I'm not doing that with mine. I am knitting my own baby hats and socks and a couple blankets. I had been saving this ball of super soft yarn for 6 years and I'm almost done with the first blanket.

@@SoulTribeMama sorry I dont have any social media. But I'm using bernat baby yarn, pink, gray and white. It's super soft. A project to keep me busy and something the baby can possibly hand down to her kids if she has any.

I'm an older momma so when the hospital gave me the bulb syringe, I used the heck out of it, they screamed but both learned very young how to blow their nose. I would use soap and water to clean it.

You can do it! it ranges day to day, some days we are Rockstar's and others we barely get by. so don't feel defeated if you cant keep up. that is totally normal. just take it day by day and remember to stop and be in the moment cause those first few months fly by quick.
What I always saw my mum do for hiccups is blow air on the fontanelle gently or put a white thread on the fontanelle. Guess it gives the mum comfort that she’s helping the baby. Growing up I thought Gripe water was for the colic.

The snaps never bothered me either! I've found that a lot of the zipper jammies don't fit very well as the side with the zipper tends to be smaller than the other leg due to the seam allowance. We use cloth diapers and need extra room around the booty. I like to have a short sleeve onesie underneath the jammies (and pretty much every outfit) to keep baby's belly warm during diaper changes.
I used cloth diapers as well and just used the gowns with elastic.
Idk why but before having a baby I thought newborns would need to be cleaned up because they would be so dirty lol they definitely are the cleanest they will ever be those first few weeks! Now on baby number three so all of this info is just so helpful even for me because it’s been a while since my last baby!

I wonder if it’s a new thing or maybe just different doctors recommendations. I know they didn’t tell me that with my first baby but the three since I’ve been told it’s better for their skin. 🤷🏼♀️

I feel like I watch so many videos where mamas will cut that part out or go out of frame or cover up (which is perfectly fine because that’s their choice), but it was cool to see this as a fellow mama who is 29 weeks pregnant with our 3rd boy 💜

So gripe waters main ingredient is sodium bicarbonate aka baking soda! I’m sure gripe water has other ingredients that help but I’m betting there a much cheaper alternative or in the chance you run out, to just mix baking soda and water in the proper amounts

Have you tried sun bleaching?
It can get out all sorts of hard stains.
Wash as normal and then lay the stained item in the sun to dry.

I don’t know if it’s available in the US but Dalin is the only other brand (that i found) that has wipes which literally contain water and just 1 other ingredient.
There’s others that say 99% water but still contain about 6-8 other ingredients.

I'm 72 years old but I do have some grandkids, and I know there are still flannel receiving blankets sold and used in hospitals. I see them all the time in youtubes about baby births. Why are they never ever mentioned in these newborn lists? And yet everyone is raving about something called "muslins". I was raised when girls learned to sew. I even took tailoring in high school. I know what muslin is and it is not flannel and it cannot be brushed into having any nap (not baby naps, the fuzzy finish on fabric) Muslin is a very very thin cotton fabric. It is not warm and the only way to make muslin warm is to use it in quilts. Please explain this for me. What are these so called "muslins?" I am expecting my first great-grand very soon and my daughter and I are wondering what it is.
By the way, I suspect your baby has the photic sneeze, which is triggered by bright light. You may have it, too, cause it is genetic. It is interesting if it can start that young. You have a very cute baby. Some of them look like little old people.

You can start any time. If you get the boxes then you can exchange them for a different size when baby grows out of a size wand you need a bigger one that way your not stuck with a bunch of diaper sizes you don’t need. I recommend getting one box of newborn, two of size 1 and three of size 2 to start
Hi, I was wondering why you didn't mention anything about baby bottles. I was looking for some advice about the Inttero brand, but I haven't found a good review about it yet. I ask because it looks like this new brand would help a lot to parents because of the preloaded feature, beside of the real breast shape. If you know them, I will really appreciate the feedback. I’ve never heard of them but I love the dr. Browns bottles all of my babies used these. Try to get sample bottles to try out so you can find the one your baby likes best before buying a full set

no I haven't used 2 but sometimes I just lay a blanket over it if I forgot to wash the cover.
