This video is soooo helpful! First time Mom here with baby due in Nov and it’s just so nice hearing about products that actually WORK. There’s so much to choose from and it can be confusing so narrowing it down is such a help. Thank you!🥰
I loved the cuticle nippers idea! I'm 31w pregnant and it's funny that I had that idea too! I'm really confident using it and that's what I bought for baby!
You can also use any kind of Bluetooth device for a sound machine. We use an echo dot and found a soft disney lullaby Playlist on Spotify that our daughter listens to every night.
I’ve been watching a lot of videos and I have to say yours is one of the most educational and actually useful videos. Loved it! Thank you for posting this as I’m not so lost on what I should actually get :)
Great items! I’d love to add that non stretchy wraps are amazing too because they last through toddlerhood and you can get whatever size(length) you want.
Can't believe 7.5 months already! Thanks for posting this! I've been binging these videos since I'm due with our first baby, a little boy, in August :)
I am 7 weeks pregnant tomorrow. I am getting nail trimmers, not clippers. But as babies you actually don’t need to use anything on them, their nails are so soft you can gently remove the excess nail off with your fingers. I have watched my sister and others do it. It doesn’t hurt the baby at all. I am so thankful that I have a bunch of receiving blankets! I personally won’t be doing pacifiers. I love this video, it is so helpful!
This was SO helpful! I’m 4 months pregnant with my first and you had great recommendations! Already downloaded the huckleberry app and definitely going to take those sleep classes! Thank you so much ❤️❤️
Thats funny cuz everyone has their own preferences.. my most useless items i got was a boppy pillow.. i never figured out how to use it, it was too small to go around me and it was hard and uncomfortable 😕
Yaaaas girl - we banned all sleepers with buttons shortly after baby #1 was born! I really cannot understand why SO many sleepers are still made with buttons, particularly in the super small sizes when you’re literally changing like 10+ diapers/day.
I actually prefer button up PJs during the newborn stage. My daughter was born in December and it was cold. She could sleep through diaper changes because I'd only unbutton a few buttons and her legs and torso would still be covered.
I want to thank you so much for this informative video. I was questioning myself a few times about long sleeve zip ups in Sept.Thats when I am due so I have been doing my best to plan ahead or shall we say as future moms Nesting. I will take in consideration everything you spoke about in this video as a first time mom.
I had a June baby in Oklahoma and he lived in only a short sleeve onesie because anything else and he would sweat through it. So, in my opinion, season is important when buying newborn clothes
How old was Hawk when you started to use the Snuggleme pillow? Thanks for this video, I think it is one of the best I've seen so far on RUclips. I have not bought most of the "important" things for my baby girl, who comes in December, and I am glad I found your video before I would buy any unnecessary items.
Thank you! ❤️and we started using the snuggle me right away when we came home from the hospital. It was one of the only places we could set him down without him crying!
A cheaper alternative would be to cover their hands with a pair of socks. They stay on better than mittens and you probably will get them as baby shower gifts.
Boudreaux's butt paste is grey freaking gold. I use it on myself all the time. It's great in the Summer for anywhere you have folds of skin that get irritated when you're all hot and sweaty.
Hey girl! I'm finding it extremely difficult finding sleepers with footies, built in mittens that are also zip up!! lol. Is this to much for a girl to ask for haha. What are your fave sleepers that hit all of these marks?!
@@shariecealisha8 oh I JUST found out a couple days ago, I'm due 5/21 my son is 5/24/2013 so interesting to see how this pans out lol .. and CONGRATS!!
I have a one year old and we don’t own or need a sound machine. also never used fingernail clippers. My midwife told me your teeth work better than any nail clippers because you can feel where their nail attached to their finger👍
@@KB-nm1nh exactly 😂😂 i've had so many people tell me this but i'm pretty sure you'd have to be a nail biter to begin with to ever be able to do that, which i definitely am not
Dang wish you could send me one of those swaddles for my shower. Everything's canceled because of covid and sadly I can't afford it. Lost both my jobs and unemployment is ending.

Omg congrats! I watched so many of these videos when I was pregnant!

thank you so much for your tips. i don't have a baby yet but i feel like i'll remember these because you're so honest and stylish

I’d love to know your car seat and stroller options you got and loved

omg thank you for watching!! And congratulations! ❤️
I suggest using a nail file. Babies nails are super fine and file down really easily. You can do it while they sleep or during breastfeeding.
Your baby stretching out of the swaddle was the CUTEST! Thanks for this list! Put some on my registry 🥰

I also learnt breast milk does d trick. Feew drops on nails and d next day nails are falling off.
This was really helpful! Thank you for this. I’m currently pregnant 29 weeks with our first baby. Stocking up on your must haves.
This is really helpful! Especially that baby tracking app! Thank you!

The cuticle nippers is genius.
This was a very helpful video and I learned a few things. So, thank you! 😊

I’m not sure if you talked about this but what mattress did you buy? I’m so stressed about all the options!
Yes! The cuticle nippers is all I've ever used on my girl. I'm glad I'm not the only one 😊

My favorite thing was the little sweet pea gowns could just lift it up quickly
The sleepers that zip up from the bottom are amazing.
I enjoyed your video and it gave me a lot of information I didn’t know about a baby. Thank you so much.

This video reminds me of your pregnancy updates. That’s when I found you, we were pregnant together!🤍
Looks like she was pregnant that's w6it felt familiar 🤣
Also baby pacifier you mentioned. Which one is that? And where to get from.
Very helpful ! I learned a lot, thank u !
New to your channel, getting ready for a 2nd child....and wanted to say my 6 year old is named Hawk!

Well hello fellow Oklahomie!
@@Myelia_irl hello! You having a baby? Lol

Where is the wooden baby bouncer from? It's gorgeous!
How many happiest baby swaddles do you recommend for a newborn?
get one! then once you know if they like it have 2!
Do you have a link for the swaddle?
Do you mind linking the Solly baby wrap dupe? Would love to check that out 😊
omg yes! thanks for reminding me, I just added it to the amazon list 💕
Alliy Scott thank you!!! 🤍
Could you recommend other long sleeve onesies with gold over sleeves that are less expensive?
A cheaper alternative would be to cover their hands with a pair of socks. They stay on better than mittens and you probably will get them as baby shower gifts.
Target has a brand called cloud island that’s quite reasonable priced and has the fold over mittens.
Lots of great tips including the Gripe Water!
Love your videos! Are you still going to do a video on the sleep training you guys did with hawk?
Thank you so much! and yes, I was just thinking about that today, i'll try to do that asap!
Put your baby in it’s own cot from day one no sleep training necessary
Please let me know the brand you used for long sleeves onesies.
Your baby is darling!
What was ur fave bassinet
I agree about the receiving blanket. Love them! Lately I’m rolling them up and putting one under my breast while we breastfeed in bed on our side.
You had some awesome recommendations!!!! I have a ton of stuff in my amazon lol.
So helpful! Thank you!

Great advice ♥️

Get Cloud Nine brand. I'm due in 4 1/2 weeks and I was able to find so many footed sleepers with mittens and inverted zipper at Target.
In same position ... I found a few at Old Navy and any store that stocks Petit Lem...
Target cloud nine :)
Can you give a link to the newborn sleep class you mention?
Yes! I just added it to the description!
I'm so glad I watched this. I'm pregnant with baby number 2 but my first is about to be 7. This just reminded me that I hated burp cloths.
Same!! Mine is 7 and there's so much I forgot already
Riley Day we have to learn all over again 😫😫 WHATS your due date? I’m 12/22

Our babies were born on the same day!! How cool! My daughter Alice was born September 1st 2019!
I just bite my babies nails 😂
It’s pronounced (boo-drose) it’s a Louisiana name just to let everyone know lol
What kind of pacifiers are those?
Bibs
Thank you!
Of course!! ❤️
What were the baby sleeping classes called?
The Taking Cara Babies Newborn class!
video request: your dream feeding journey/experience please💗
You have the perfect valley girl accent. Helpful list, thank you!
It annoyed my so much I had to turn the video off..🤫🤭🤷♀️
Yeah why talking like that otherwise the video is easier to watch
More like a baby straight jacket
You look like Megan Park!
Which scale did you use?
It's called MomMed from amazon. I linked it in my amazon link! I really like it
Niceee
