What I love most about Alyssa and her content is that she does not tell us what to wear or what not to wear but just how to wear them better and with confidence ❤
You've inspired me to get out my "fancy" watch that my husband bought for me in Italy and start wearing it. What good does it do in a drawer? Thanks Alyssa!
Very inspiring as always! I went through my jewelry collection today and rediscovered some really nice pieces I had not worn in quite a while. Also, put together a nice donation bag of costume jewelry. I said to myself, why am I keeping 2 fake pearl necklaces when I have a beautiful necklace of the real thing! I’m going to style with “the good stuff” from now on….love shopping my own closet❤️. Thank you for being so amazing.
I always learn from you Alyssa! I love the shoe with the gold trousers instead of a sneaker. So much food for thought! I have a great fitting, very conservative dress ( that I wore for my Dad's funeral) ... I'm going to experiment with opposites to bring it to life. He would love that. Thank you!
I'm sorry for your loss. Oddly enough, I have just put away a shirt which I was wearing when my husband died in January. I have had it for years and love it - it's light sage green with tiny birds on it - so I won't be decluttering it. You've just made me realise that wearing it differently might make it easier to go back to it when I'm ready. Thank you.
Si, si, si Alyssa! I am back to your SLOW FASHION program again... I love the way you put a striped button down shirt over that elegant maxi dress - such a creative idea. Bella! Brava! 🌈
❤️ Love contrast in outfits. High/Low mix. Formal & informal. Like to take a graphic tee & pair it w/a pencil skirt from a suit set for a museum, matinee, window browsing, or casual lunch date. Or, mix a silky or sheer button up knotted over a coordinating tank & jogger, cargo pant, or straight tea length skirt. 🧣Wore a lot of cosy scarves, knitted cuffed beanies & headbands this last Winter for the first time. Enjoyed the extra pop of color. 🧢Will wear caps or bucket hats when it heats up🌞. 💎 Need to seriously up my jewelry game. Used to wear a big chunky Disney watch almost everyday. When working at TWDC, I went crazy buying them. Would wear a short beaded or pearl necklace. My standard stacked rings. Would swap out earrings. Guess those were my signature items. I just got out of the habit🤣. 😘Inherited a huge collection of costume jewelry from my mother & grandmothers too. Maybe I should bust 'em out. Although I find bracelets & chains to be fussy😳. You also have to treat them w/more respect. 💚Bridget from Cali☘️ (using my pal's YT acct)
I love your ❤practical advice but mostly teaching us to mix the unexpected together. (Its like having a respectable party & inviting your Uncle Eddie into the mix).
Oh yes, I started integrating my 'fancy' items into my everyday. My sezane claude baag, which I treated myself to my birthday in December is on high rotation! I LOVE it. It has a €345 price tag so I figure I should enjoy it :) I also follow a capsule wardrobe, so I only buy and keep what I really love (or at least try to - sometimes I still fail).
I love the blue on blue. Thanks for the tips on necklaces! I've never been a huge jewelry person and you've inspired me to try layering with existing pieces I had long forgotten. Happy Sunday!
Since watching your channel, I definitely pay more attention to small details, which I realise make such a difference. Taking a few seconds to try on different coloured belts can change the feel completely:)
Basic pieces tightly put together does look boring and old. However, replacing one item with something unexpected or wild can lighten up the mood, making it fun, like winking. For example, instead of loafers, wear dad sneakers; instead of dainty gold earrings, wear a pair of bold and eye catching earrings with your breton stripe top.
Accessories often make the outfit whether it be special pieces from travel or the jewelry of one’s favorite artisan jeweler. Some of my favorites are pieces brought by my daughter from Afrika and necklaces from Lake Superior rocks. They start conversations & tell about me.
Always so good! Thank you! I’m planning my packing for an extended Europe trip this summer. I love your fresh ideas. Makes me see my closet in a whole new light!
Great ideas to take basics to the next level easily and quickly. Thanks, Alyssa, for the useful content! I just watched similar content from Emily Wheatley. I will take those ideas wherever I can!
Well I guess I do have a signature jewelry style - I wear a watch on my left and combination of bracelets on my right that I change day to day. I also always have a necklace and layer often, they are mostly delicate gold and diamond - quality over quantity is best-they all pair so well and I choose earrings every day too. I think styling my jewelry has been my original self care routine ..
Ciao! I used your code to buy a Nordgreen watch with 3 interchangeable bands. It is such a good purchase. Thank you for even telling me this company exists. LOL
Black Tulle skirt (not overly fluffy, but medium fluffy), geray and red Kiss T-shirt, black and white chucks, have worn it to go grocery shooping, will wear it again to go grocery shopping 😎🤟😉 but I could be tempted to wear my red chucks insted of the black and white ❤
You know that chunky fisherman-knit sweater hanging on your rack? How would that look tied around your shoulders with the Chanel-style tee and the gold pants? I think that would be a great look, and also useful in this changeable weather season. Thanks for the tips...going to my closet now!
Does Nordgreen's watches size their bands? I have a very small wrist. I have another question for you Alyssa: what is your feeling about taking off the labels for fabric and washing instructions from clothing? They can be uncomfortable at times. If I resell the item, should they be left on? You inspire me to be more conscious of choosing clothing wisely. These were great tips.
As a dedicated consignment and thrift store shopper, I think any resale item should have at least the fabric/care label intact. Don’t care so much about size tags; if it fits, it fits. But they are often attached to the brand labels, and I also like to know the brand. It’s a shorthand indicator of the quality. So, if labels are missing I tend to skip over that item.
another great video - thank you! I laughed out loud because I recently thrifted a brand new tulle skirt (layered skirt really) that I've worn to a fancy occasion but what to figure out how to wear on Wednesday...tshirt it is! Thanks 🙏
I was hoping to link over to Nordgreen but don't see the reference in your descriptor - could you add that for those of us interested in shopping? Thanks! :)

Blue coat a wowzer . 🥳 Thanks for reminding us that texture is a game changer. ❤ chunky turquoise jewelry w/black silk.

All black, or even your polka-dot shirt or striped shirt, will always be my go to. All black, just feels so elevated right off the bat!
Wow that blue coat is absolutely gorgeous!
I love that long maxi look. And the belived gold trousers. ❤
Wow, I’m obsessed! Especially the outfit with the metallic pants 💫 LOVE it!!
Awesome video as always 👏
I admire your style soooooo much! Thank you for the continued inspiration!

I love the idea of mixing jewelry; I’ve been layering similars, I will now try layering differents. I greatly enjoy your channel.
AB making my Sunday better ❤
ahhhh this is so kind :) Happy weekend xx
Some good pointers here on adding some personality to such basic pieces. Thanks for sharing and blessings to you and all in the days to come.

Hi. Love this so much. Thank you
Can you please share who made that gorgeous pearl necklace?
I'd like to know as well 😊
I LOVE the POMP blue shirt you are wearing. Would you mind sharing what size you bought so I can size up accordingly? Thank you!
Going to try more necklace layering, as it seems to elevate anything!

Thank you for all of your content! You always share thoughtful suggestions and information. Where is your pearl necklace from?

Love that idea! Happy shopping your closet!
Really enjoyed the video. Where is your gold necklace and pearl pendant from?
I loved the blue coat!
It’ll be interesting to see how I can do this! PS I love seeing you in the bomber jacket you wore yesterday!
Ahhh thank you for joining us yesterday Kathy! xx

A fab fit fun mug ☕️ I’m shook!!!
ooh is that where it's from! It was a gift lol
I love the necklace with the lake circle on it where it seems like I’ve changed the pearl pendant. Where is it from?
Love the tips Ms. Beltempo!

Love the Cannoli T-shirt, link please?
Great content as usual.
Always gather great style tips from you -- thank you! (But don't love the increase in sponsored posts)
I really want that cannoli t 🖤
Where did you get the Cannoli T?
Alyssa…..mi piace molto la camicia “Cannoli”….dove l’hai comprata?
I was hoping to link over to Nordgreen but don't see the reference in your descriptor - could you add that for those of us interested in shopping? Thanks! :)
Hello Zenyatta! Apologies! It's in there now! :)
@@AlyssaBeltempo Thanks so much! These watches are lovely and they complement a capsule wardrobe so well!
I just can’t embrace the metallic pants so I did metallic Paul Green trainers 😊
Superb❤️
Tus videos son interesantes, Alyssa.....y si les pones subtítulos en español, mejor!
Recibe un fuerte abrazo, dsd México❤
What is the link to the convertible backpack?
It is a link to a popular backpack I wear- made in Canada:)
Love all ur suggestions but don't like hems all the way to floor..looks awful. Like ur going to trip any minute..ha..thx again
Ac that takes 1/3rd of the entire video. Then a very slow talk. Disappointing.
Omg. I just realized that my everyday (maxi dress) is your special. And my special (button up and pants) is your everyday 🤯
