Parker Monaco 110 - TEST DRIVE

- Parker Yachts is a new brand to me but this is not a new company at all! With extensive experience dating back to the 70's in Poland they have been been present in the Aussie market for some time already.
This Monaco 110 appears to be a combination of many good ideas to create a product that packs a lot of useable space into this boat. She's got everything one would need for a long weekend on the water with the family and can serve you well in the role of a day boat while operating short handed too.
If this is also your first look at a Parker Yacht then I hope you get some value from it!

Another standout review, Dan. You along Jack Haines and Alex Smith are setting a whole new standard in thorough boat reviews. Walk-thru coupled with a thorough trial run, what's not to like. Again, wish these had USA representation.
Thanks Jack - always nice to see your comments in here. I'm surprised they don't have a presence in the US?
Yes yes love this boat
Ooo this is innovating! Love the aft design with the sun pad over the engines, really does give an inboard feel! I hope this catches on in the 40-45ft market, even with inbuilt tender lifts
brilliant review mate, perfectly edited with drone like a netflix tv show! thanks for detailed explanation. Keen to see Axopar boats on this page!
Appreciate that!
Hi nice boat and thanks for your videos , 😉
Thanks for the share Dan.
Sharp little craft. Seems like a nice size for inland waterways!
It would be interesting to hear it with the 300s.
Yes the 300's could be a nice match also. I think 400s is overkill for this boat.
That’s a Bobby dazzler of a boat mate! 💪🏼😎
nice parking demo
That cut-water bow seems to do it's job nicely.Seakeeper are now about to announce their new non-tab trim system that would work well with this boat.
Modern day outboards IMHO have made stern drive an option. Needs air ride chairs!! The bench seat needs to go back to the 70s
As a huge Parker-fan, I regret not to check the Monaco on the BOOT in Düsseldorf last time. But it's just not my price range ;-)
I appreciate the comment!
Great reviews mate, you address the key points a prospective buyers needs to know. The lack of music allows us to hear the actual noise levels and is especially appreciated. How did you find the quality of the boat overall? I saw it at the Vancouver boat show and felt it was a bit cheap in terms of quality of assembly, but given the price point those issues can be easily rectified during ownership. As long as the build quality of the hull is solid. I am concerned about the hull windows leaking over time when it comes to a "budget" boat builder, but I am not sure if that concern is actually warranted. How would you compare it to the Wellcraft of the same size? Both are made in Poland as far as I know, and alongside the likes of Galeon, I am happy to see some great options coming from their builders.
Regarding hull windows I have seen a cracked window on a Galeon before however it looked to me like operator error. It appeared that a fender had been placed next to the hull window instead of on a hard point and the fender had point loaded into the glass and cracked it. Hull window leaks over time are possible and potentially more likely if you intend to run the boat regularly in rough conditions where the hull is subject to more flex. However i've not personally seen it. What I have seen over the years is seals from openning windows losing their elasticity and then leaking.
Both Wellcraft and Parker are built to a similar standard which is in line with brands like Beneteau and Jeanneau. They are perfectly acceptable for their intended purpose but not designed to last two lifetimes like some boats that would cost 2 and 3 times more. I have tested that Wellcraft and you can also find it on my channel and feel free to contact me via my website if you need consulting on a purchase decision.
@@BoatLife_DansBoatLife Thank you for taking the time to provide more in depth experience, I really appreciate it! I saw the wellcraft videos you did. I rarely miss any of your videos these days as they really are the best available on RUclips. It is clear you are passionate and understand boats, as well what owners look for when owning one. All the best!
Is this boat available with a joystick control?
If you got Mercury i would say it's possible - yes.
how much that in philippines money?
This is super rough but call it 26-29M Pesos. This would be a cool boat for Philippines because of outboard power and cabin A/C. Imagine cruising Palawan on this!
Guests that are not useful 😂
haha you get it
