I'm currently working on this exact same kit but I'm going for a post apocalypse Mississippi River pirate boat using the master box skull clan figures for the crew.

Your build and diorama are superlative ! I noticed you were able to find a lot of "after kit" additions to dress it up. Would you perhaps know where I can get 1/35 scale modern radios/sat comm antenna/lap tops in plastic or resin ? Or to anyone who may know... I've looked, to no avail
Hi thanks for your feedback! You can get radios from: www.bnamodelworld.com Just put ‘radio’ in the search field. I have also seen laptops from MAiM, Scale Production & Eureka xxl. There are some Eureka 1:35 laptops on EBay at a Virginia store or you can go to the European website: eureka XXL.com

Thanks Jim! The figures are Bravo 6, with a change of head for the blonde hair guy. You can get Bravo 6 figures from most model hobby shops or eBay

Thanks! The figures are Bravo 6 and a few have Hornet heads on them
How do you keep the rigging taught ?
As they were short pieces I cut them exactly and used ca glue both ends. I have also used some heat in the past. When using a simple knot, I also use a pin or toothpick in the knot to “move” it along the line close to the end and then use ca glue. Thanks 😊
I don't think Popeye himself has a prettier boat than the one you built. Now I see why we lost to the communists; its because the boats were something that you could pick up with only one hand.
I have a box of this boat...but i dont know anything about model making..
