My ex-bf (hubby now) and I have lived in for 8 years before getting married. My parents are traditional kaya medyo mahirap but I’d say malaking help yun sa pag aadjust namin. Now that we are married for almost 3 years, madali na mag adjust. Pag dating sa finances. We are both working kaya yung gastos split. That works for us kahit ngyon pa na kasal na kami. Sagot ko groceries sagot niya lahat ng maintenance ng 2 sasakyan. Hati sa bills and rent. Then we have our own freedom on what to buy although most of the time we inform each other kung ano bibilhin and sometimes we give opinions din but not the point na controlling na. 😊
A very good topic to cover REC•CREATE! Good job guysss, hinihintay ko yung topic na ganito. Adulting kasi touches finances talaga, especially when you're dating someone or already living together with them. In todays age, there's inflation and consumerism in play. Yes naman, there's needs and wants ang isang tao, u just need to talk it out and plan. Di na pwede yung go with the flow strategy, someone (especially in a relationship) needs to deal with cash coming in and out, dapat maging financially literate kumbaga.
this opened my eyes, i use to be so hyped about living with someone who isn't my family member and just starting a brand new exciting life, but now knowing this i kinda wanna take things slow and wait before I'm comfortable living with myself before settling down with someone
When me and my then gf, who's now my wife, moved in together sobrang hirap ng adjustments mas challenging yung mag acclimate sa routines at rules nya at narealize ko na para malagpasan yun agad you need to submit. Also, learn how to manage your finances kahit nag eearn kami both ng 6 figures, kumportable pero sobrang hirap parin kasi di mo na solo pera mo. Hahaha

@@pinkmochi2812 nakadirect debit na lahat ng bills every 1st of the month. Groceries namin nag aaverage kami ng 10-15k/wk may separate card kami for that para nattrack namin. May 3 kids na kami kaya magastos. Dati may budget makapag eurotrip at sa mga luho pero ngayon tight na.
@@pinkmochi2812 naka direct debit lahat ng bills namin so every 1st of the month bawas na agad. Groceries around 10-15k/wk tapos separate card sya may 3 kids na kami kaya mabigat na din gastusin.

4-yrs in, nag live in kami. its true na masaya pero it also exposes the differences between you two. and whats important is how you address and move thru these differences, small or big. unfortunately, kahit physically we were closer, emotionally and mentally we grew apart after two years. definitely a learning experience.

When we got together I knew kung gano sya ka oc sa mga gamit nya, he loves building projects, artistic, magastos at mejo irritable on little things!
Living together would help you decide whether if gusto mo sya pakasalan. In terms of finances since bf kopalang sya that time I don’t have the right to touch his earnings but we share half-half with all the expenses.

Considering that we all view cohabitation through rose-colored glasses, pero not everyone are matured enough to face real-life problems, nor are able to adjust living with another individual. I wish we all find our person, the one who will be a true partner to us not only when things are easy and happy, but throughout every season of our lives.

Same so we never get to compare the life na “hindi pa live in” which is better so walang mapagkukumparahan and day 1 nakilala mo na agad yung partner mo instead of “di ka naman ganto ganyan before”. Ang struggle lang talaga na matututunan in the process is to give space, dapat may time kayo na knya kanya para hindi mafeel yung idea na settled at sakal.
