How do you logically figure Lincoln has “destroyed the Escalade” in any way, shape, or form when the new redesigned 2021 Cadillac Escalade which will *actually* compete with the new Navigator hasn’t even been revealed yet? Then on top of that the brand new Navigator isn’t even more desirable than the current and outgoing Cadillac Escalade which is 6 years old because it *CONTINUES* to effortlessly outsell the new Navigator. Lol. So please explain yourself because you sound ridiculous and very delusional.

  • @FreeMagneticEnergy2
    @FreeMagneticEnergy2 4 года назад +1

    🚨Guys!!! I don’t know if you read the reviews posted underneath your videos, but I’d like to start off by saying that the Lincoln Aviator is a Lincoln Navigator wannabe.
    Secondly, the look of the Lincoln Navigator blows away the look of the Lincoln Aviator.
    Lastly, the snow tires recommended for this vehicle are all wrong. Those are snow tires wannabes. Actual tires for winter travel are actually called winter tires. They are far more aggressive in the tread design which are made for snow country. The tires you showed are suited to get you home from work at best. Those who live in snow country know better.
    Nevertheless, I love the way you produce your videos!❤️

    I love the Aviator. I don’t understand how more manufactures don’t do the keypad. I could understand it when it was just a big number pad, but now you can’t see it until you use it

    The Aviator blows away the XT6 in pretty much every way. We are going to cross shop the Volvo XC90 and the Lincoln Aviator. The XC90 has long been my favorite, but the Aviator looks so nice, I don’t think I could buy the Volvo without giving the Lincoln a chance or I’d always be wondering what-if.

      I live in Sweden and I would say go for the aviator without even having driven it. The xc99 is very noisy, engine and just general insulation...

    • @mybro727

      blackpower // yes. And it doesn’t compete in the same market as the XT6 anyway. The Cadillac is a less expensive FWD CUV. This is not.

    • @mavsguy842
      @mavsguy842 5 лет назад

      The base Aviator actually starts less expensive than the XT6, but can get quite a bit more expensive than the XT6. Lincoln and Cadillac may have taken different approaches, but the XT6 and Aviator certainly compete with each other. Which other Cadillac would compete with the Aviator, or which other Lincoln would compete with the XT6?

    Me and my wife had a 2005 black aviator that we bought from a Lexus dealership in 2015. It was a one owner that had been pampered and garage kept and serviced well. it had right at 100,000 miles and I gave $5000 for it ....we loved that truck. I can’t wait until these hit the used car market and make their way down to us poor people again ha ha great review beautiful car truck SUV whatever it is

    I own a 2020 Corsair and can confirm the wood is real. Each VIN # has a few pieces of wood specifically cut for it that is stored at some factory. If you ever need to replace it, go to your dealer and they can help out.

    Hey guys ,just wanted to mention that I was at the Toronto car show earlier this and sat in this SUV and found it far more luxurious than the navigator. I'm by no means a fan of ford or Lincoln but this vehicle is quite stunning

  • @palebeachbum
    @palebeachbum 5 лет назад +9

    Why the hell is there like a solid 1 second delay in response when Yuri punches the throttle from a standstill? I'm not talking about the long turbo lag. I'm talking about the vehicle not even moving immediately when he punches the throttle. That's not acceptable.
    That aside, Lincoln did an amazing job with the styling inside and out. Looks like true American luxury...in CUV form. It look elegant and classy. That interior is the icing on the cake. Wow. Cadillac interiors (the whole lot of them) look like they're not even trying. They basically have the level of styling of the average compact economy car these days.

      @@ph00ny1 I agree it's very common, in that all 3 vehicle from 3 different manufacturers all have throttle by wire and a weird delay on initial throttle input. I chalk it up to bad calibration/tuning though.

    The “fake” exhaust tips are that designed that way because there’s some sensor or something at the back that was affected by the steam that rising up an covering it. With the exhaust tips facing down, that problem is solved

    Hola, a few comments:
    1. I love the fact that you guys are dealing with both iOS and Android devices. For us more technically inclined buyers, having smartphone connectivity is SUPER important.
    2. Prices aside, one thing you don't talk about is RELIABILITY. What has been the historical service and recalls with these high end models. I gather you don't want to discuss that only to be ostracized from the car manufacturers.
    3. What about market depreciated value on these vehicles after say 3 years or 5 years?

    The problem?
    Almost ALL the info offered is a subjective opinion. No hard testing or hard data. No race comparisons. Just seat in the pants cookie cutter kinda deal.
    There is a reason why many of us like top gear or motor trend.

    Ford was doing that exhaust tip nonsense on the previous-gen late production Explorers... There was a huge issue with exhaust fumes and carbon monoxide in the cabin, and this was the solution. It wouldn't surprise me if the same follows through here, even if they say otherwise.

    The real reason for the exhaust is because in the past explorer, they had problems where the exhaust fumes went inside the car. By facing the exhaust down, the fumes are swept from the wind coming from under the vehicule.
