Great video! Over an hour long and no annoying adverts interrupting every 10mins! How is this possible..?! I really want to go to the Haynes Motor Museum now!
friend had an Elva Courier back in the day, great autocross car. to fully appreciate the Pontiac, you have to see it at night with the lights on, the chiefs head hood emblem lights up, to show the way.
Trivia: did you know the Sunbeam Tiger was originally planned to have the GM 215 V8? But they couldn't make the deal with GM so they went with the Ford 289.
Miura SV is the actual top of the range. Certainly gorgeous. Chap down the road from me has an Edsel Villager wagon, he’s also got a Cadillac Fleetwood.
34:31 SM (beautifully beautiful car!!!!) used a chopped down V8 as France had a taxation on large engines. Unfortunately being a chopped V8 it ended up the wrong configuration for the V so needed a balance shaft to help with lumpiness and run smoothly. They also had a twin points setup with one set being upside in the dizzy making them awkward to adjust so meant doing it on the bench off the car. Also an early AA bike not Postal. 😊😊
Boys PLEASE know your stuff it’s series 11 (2) 88 inch hardtop Land Rover an a merc C class 230k sport K being kompressor , or supercharged in UK speak. At least you didnt call the Land Rover a defender i will give you that an I’m only 4.16 into it tut tut 😊😊
The Land Rover is not a Series 1, it's a Series 2 SWB 88" Hardtop model. The Series 2 was built 1961-71, and on a 1963 A reg plate, it's more likely to be a Series 2A. Back around 1971, a large steel framed asbestos garage, near where I lived, collapsed during a storm, completely wrecking a Sumbeam Tiger that had been stored in it for several years. Mum has good taste re the SD1 Sheldon, especially a series 2. 👍
@classic_britain The Series one is a cute but basic little thing. Had a SWB petrol soft top as a tow vehicle and do all runabout years ago. I used to love driving it, similar look to the Air Portable lightweight the military had. Ha ha, I just realised you were talking about your mum having a S1 SD1 V8. Yes, I've had a few, including a 2600. The series 2 SD1 were much better, and I've had my 1985 spec 3.5 Vanden Plas 5 speed carb model since late 1989 and no desire to part with it.
Sad that you dont have a nice word to say about the 2CV, surely its quirkiness is enough to earn it some respect and what did you expect it to drive like? 😉
Ive got a 1996 BMW 850 CSI 1 of 21 uk cars 5.7 v12 6 speed manual if you want to do a vid an its for sale. An a Range Rover L405 the proper big one SV autobiography 5.0 supercharged 575 bhp as standard but mine is 680 now an 23k miles 2018 model, reply an let me know 😊😊
I don’t understand people who are interested in cars but aren’t interested in the interiors. Lotus elite shared almost all components with the esprit, except transmission and rear end. The later cars even had ZF transmissions. So why was it “possibly one of the worst cars lotus ever made”???
What a great video!
Perfect exposure, stabilized slow panning, very good audio, brilliant commentating.
Thx for a great show!
Glad you liked it!

It's a cool car for sure but I had very little battery left so had to be quick!
Take a bow lads, great stuff. Super selections.
Wow Awesome Video enjoyed so many Incredible cars, didn't expect you to be able to film another SD1 Estate very cool 😀👍🏻.
Glad you liked it!
Best motor museum I've ever seen thanks!
Another great video. The Renault at the start is the Laguna touring car. An absolute weapon, it’s front-mid engined.

oh nice I did not know that!
How could you not stop on such a sunny day in the UK 😅😅😊😅

No I did not know that but I do now!

Those bench seats are good can swap drivers without stopping 😅😊😅😊

They are lovley cars but if I was to own one it would have to be mint!
The Sunbeam Tiger first generation with the 260 Ford V8 was a car with a great attitude.
Ok sorry its a C43 but there so rare its usually a dressed up 230k , the TVR is a sagaris
It's a real nice car!
Series 2 Land Rover. Great video, but you are getting some of your guesses wrong, but even so enjoyed it and seeing the cars.

35:35 - that’s my dream classic car if I win the lottery ❤
Don't do it LOL
Awesome 👍
Glad you enjoyed it
Hope you didn't get sunstroke 😅😊😅

Sorry they just do nothing for me

Thanks but I only do British stuff
I'm with your mum on E types. Don't see the appeal. A Jaguar should have Space, Pace and Grace.
I like the D type better!

Correct, I did laugh at Wankel
