I took up golf last summer, so in the spirit of buying a ton of new golf things in a short period of time, I knew I needed to add a push cart to the spending list. I stumbled onto this video and it quickly convinced me that this was the right cart for me and I ordered it immediately. I then sent this video to my brother who took up golf a week after I did, and he immediately bought one as well. A year later, we both still love these carts. They are great quality, SUPER compact, lightweight, and easy to move around the course. It is probably one of my favorite pieces of golf equipment that I own, and someday I hope to upgrade my current clubs to get my cart the fancy set of clubs that it deserves. Thank you so much for such a great video!
Fantastic in depth review! I just ordered mine and can’t wait for it! I love the well placed and functional little features, seems like the perfect push cart for an amazing price
Great video! Received mine today. The assembly instructions were not intuitive and I could not get it to open fully with the green button. So happy to luck upon your video which made set up very easy. Have started walking more at a few courses and looking forward to loading up my pushcart right at my car.
Just got mine Monday. Was so excited to use it today but the AQI from the Canadian fires smoke in northern New Jersey was 300 and had to cancel. It looks and feels super quality. Should last a long time. I contacted the company for a price on replacement bungees just to have for the future and they were $25 😮
Finally used mine yesterday. This is one fantastic cart. I don’t know how I golfed with an old crumby two wheeler. This CaddyTek has all the bells and whistles of expensive high end carts. It’s a little stiff and challenging to open but hope it gets easier over time. You say it’s super light but I disagree on that. Not heavy but not super light. It performs wonderful and is extremely solid and well built. I expect to have it for many years. Haven’t tried the umbrella holder yet to see if it’s high enough but at 5’9” I’m sure it will be.
Great video man love how your not afraid to muscle it about a bit and show how robust it is. Found this video as I’d narrowed this cart down to a top three on ones I thought were decent. Having seen this video I’ve hit the button and purchased it. May I ask what your golf bag model is please? Goes really well with the cart.
Thanks for the video...nice review on this cart. You answered a few questions I had, which I wanted to get answered before hitting the "buy" button. Nice to see an actual review by a reliable human being! Thanks again!
Corey, Bought my Version 8 in early March while it was still cold here in MA. After using the heavy rental pull carts, this thing is like driving a Lincoln. Ive used it a few times on the course. First time ever I didnt reach into any pocket on my golf bag. Wallet fit in top storage, i phone slipped into the holder, extra golf balls in the basket. It was sweet. all the positive reviews and videos are legit, this cart is great. What you didn't show was that the umbrella holder can be stored on the leg of the cart to get it out of the way. I also bought the storage bag which keeps the car clean. I have been overly impressed with it. It is worth every penny.
Hey Corey, thanks for the video. I am looking at purchasing the same cart. Now that you have had ti awhile would you recommend it? I have major concerns about the bag twisting..... it is what has deterred me from buying another push cart it is the worst! Thank you sir!
Thanks for the review I’m in the market for something like this. Now that you’ve used it do you think it’d be worth going up a bit to the four wheel model or is this more than enough?
Thanks Corey, I am new to golf, and on a tight budget and have been looking at so many over the last week, ready to come out of lockdown in the UK! I think this video has swayed me to get this one from Amazon... £149.00 over here! Thanks again Corey.
Thanks for watching! Its a great push cart let me tell you. The only thing it doesn't have is a 360 degree front wheel, but in my opinion I don't want that anyway. My buddy has it and it will turn to one side on a hill with one back wheel locked. I don't like that. So this cart is perfect! Thanks for watching, please subscribe!
@@coreyskinner I bought it on Amazon earlier this afternoon... My wife was shocked when the email came through saying we were getting a delivery tomorrow! ooops! Can't wait!
Here in the UK a company called DRUIDS do the exact same trolley for £109, they sell lots of apparel and golf bags ect for very good prices. Can also spread the cost which is easier if you can't fork it out in one go.
@@TheTwoFingeredBullFrog the druids ones are the older models, there are some small differences such as the the hatch/lid near the handle, and finished colouring of pieces, and these are the slightly older models. Druids were also put of stock for ages and only recently got them back in. They are very very similar, but if you compare you can see it is an older model.
Awesome video! You convinced me to buy one today, just ordered the exact same one after a lot of research. In the end I could live without the front wheel swirling 360, this cart has everything else you need and more and for the price one of the best carts out there! Thanks again for such an in-depth review 🍺🇨🇦⛳️ SWEET HAHA 😂
Great detailed review. You pretty much covered everything. I have one on the way from Costco for $159, which seems like a great price. I can’t wait to take it out for some “dusk rate “ walking a few evenings a week.
Just a question, I’m looking for a new push trolley but I don’t have a cart bag would I be able to put my stand back on straight or would the legs interfere with the trolley?? Thanks
Did you end up using this cart for any length of time? I'm just curious about it's longevity. I'm considering buying a ball golf push cart for disc golf and some courses are pretty rough and wooded. Thanks!
Hi I just want to ask you what’s your height I see the handle where you pull is about upto your waist I’m pretty tall and just want to know how height the handle is when I’m pushing the trolley
I have this cart. I find opening it EXTREMELY stiff and difficult to raise the handle and lock it in place. I am a small woman. Is there any way to make it easier raise the handle and lock it?
Grab it by the main handle and the spot just below the basket. Where the four tee's go. Almost like a flicking/throwing motion. It will fully open doing that one or two times.
Nice Trolley…. But considering how much those things cost there seems to be an awful lot of customer build work needed. And those ties definitely should come pre threaded.
I came here looking to see where a rubber ring goes that I found in the box that looks to be more than simple packing material, but I did not see this rubber ring in your unpacking video. It is much bigger than the small rubber axle covers on the two unattached wheels that are clearly seen in your video. The rubber ring I found is 1.25 inch diameter, 2.25 inch long and 1/4 inch thick. It has an indention in the center, as if it should be cut into two pieces so that each piece is ~1 inch long as well as some ridges as if to help grip something. Did anyone else get this in their box, any ideas? The inside diameter is about the size of the smaller cart tubing, but there is no obvious place to insert it. My best guess is that it used to add more grip to the base that the golf bag sits on. By cutting the rubber ring in half, each 1 inch ring is slipped onto each of the two "forks" that form the base that the golf bag sits on. That base has two parts to it that are each about 1 inch wide, so this must be what it can be used for. but the two pieces of the fork are tapered somewhat so there is a chance the rings could slip off?
LOL I did get that small rubber ring and I have no idea what it's for either hahaha I looked everywhere on the push cart and I'm like what the hell. lol Thanks for watching!
I’m waiting for mine in the mail now so can’t say for sure, but I think the scorecard bungees on top of the flip up plastic part just below the ball marker
