    I have probably watched this video over 15 times. SO INFORMATIVE. I wish I could afford a Lauren B ring but I cannot haha. The information is still very helpful and so easy to understand. Keep up the great work!

    I’ve been searching and online researching oval diamonds for hours and this video couldn’t have been more thorough and informative. Thank you so much!
    Also, I was wondering: since you say going for a shallower diamond with a higher ratio would affect the proportion and shine, would it be better to find a happy medium between mm and weight? I heard sometimes a heavier diamond with more depth could minimize the bow tie effect. What are your thoughts on this? Thanks, again, for all your help. 😊💍

      That makes our day! Thanks for tuning in...Yes its important to find a happy medium; you dont want too shallow or will lack sparkle. More depth can minimize the effect but if its too deep the stone will look small. We try to toe the line and err on the side of larger looking face up dimensions

    I loved everything the man said; very informative. The too loud repetitive music is annoying.

    Thoughts on lab grown IGI certified oval diamonds? Anything else i should look out for?

    • @laurenbjewelry
      @laurenbjewelry  Год назад

      Hi, IGI is comparable to GIA in quality when buying stones, due to its stringent grading standards. IGI certifications often provide good value for money compared to GIA.

    Who actually does the GIA certificate? Do loose stones enter the jeweler with the GIA or does the jeweler rate the stone.
    I’ve always bought loose stones only.

      Hi Ann, stones are sent to the GIA facility to get graded!
