As soon as this community realizes there will always be trade offs with these physics the better we will be able to manage our expectations. Won’t be able to change suspension settings to prioritize one thing such as hills, and have it feel perfectly realistic and dialed for everything else. It’s a trade off
@@MadHasher710do you understand the concept of preference? The factory bikes aren’t perfectly dialed either. Just because they’re easy to ride doesn’t make them realistic
i feel like this is the most realistic the bikes have been , you gotta lean forward to turn sharp etc. to me factory make it’s feel arcadey and just easy
Im in the same boat, overall OEMs feel better than they did, but to have to change game settings that ive never had to touch since B15 to ride specific bikes is odd. Now that we have more than just Honda for factory bikes, and even the OEM team constantly preaching how realistic they want the game to be, its time for pro races to be on factory bikes as they are in real life. OEMs for non pro races, like in real life.
The OEM's just feel weird. I don't feel like my input is connected to the output like it should be. Almost like whatever is keeping the bikes from crashing is also limiting what I'm trying to do. Whereas on the factory bikes, the same thing is accomplished while still allowing the most input possible.
I was having all of the same problems then reaper doc made a video for tips for the new bikes and that helped so much as for suspension I don't expect stock to work on outdoors and whoops. for supy a base setup for me is maxing the spring rate as high as it will go and going from there. The fantic 450 also seems to be the best in whoops
For some reason with the oems my steering sensitivity is unbearable no matter what I do with the settings, I have tried deleting and gone back to default settings too although the factory bikes I find brilliant anyone else had this issue? I’m pretty sure it’s not my skill ability I have a lot of hours in this game I’m not great but nothing to warrant how sensitive it is! Amazing game and loving the effort the community put into it! Keep roosting guys👌
Nice video Lynds, track looks great! BTW - The best thing you can do is be honest about the new OEM's because your opinion should matter being a top rider. I truly hope that new series are established, which use the Factory bikes because IMO they are more consistent and enjoyable to ride. Should be plenty of riders that support both bike series.
Idk why we are gonna be racing pro races on oems now anyway. The factory bikes are superior by a long shot. The oems were rushed out and im sorry but these oems are dumb. It was a reach for the stars effort in fixing shit but they broke even more stuff. To be that's not a win especially when we need to wake up and look that we have the factory bikes that work and they work very good. So why are we hanging onto the oems... they aren't the only bikes
As a bikes player with almost 3k hours I 100% agree with your take on the oem we learned different than the new players so the new bikes favor newer players and not the long time players I can spin faster laps on a stock piboso bike anymore
I get the same “handle bar shake” that he refers too. I also feel like I can’t turn as well as before? And I haven’t changed a single thing about the way I whip/scrub, but for some reason, on the new bikes, my front wheel dips way down when I whip or scrub. Like the bike rotates forward about 25° and I eat shit every time. Only fix I’ve found for whips/scrubs is to not throw the bike so hard. But man I used to love throwing a completely 180° whip. But now if I come even close close to that(like 140°), the bike rotates forward and when I land, the front wheel washes. Anyone else have the same issue? Time for a new way of whipping? I’ve always used the sit then stand method to get gnarly whips. Scrubs aren’t as bad, but my whips look like I have 3 hours in the game now.
i also prefer the new OEMs wayyyy more over the factory. The OEMs finally making sense to me and feel like really riding a supidly dangerous motocross, but the factory bikes just feel like riding a bike in a computergame
I’m having the same issue trying to find a bike that will go through the whoops. I was able to make a Fantic 450 setup that gets through the whoops every time.
Ya im guessing cuz you have so many hours and are so good you're not used to the new oems. I personally only have like 300 hours and I love the new oems. Idk about 450's too much, I suck on them. I ride 250 and I like the Suzuki the best so far if you can believe that.
Your a player with 2000 plus hours of your having problems with them it’s not the players they make the bike worse every time they touch them take us back to 17 or something and still better factory did it perfectly first try sorry oem team don’t wanna hear the truth but that’s it’s
I'm a subscriber for a pretty long time now and usually I really enjoy your content but damn.. Even over here in germany I can hear your tears dropping of your cheeks while you think about that whole oem vs. factory topic and it's fucking annoying. You are a way better rider than I will ever be in this game, but talking about the most "arcady" physics on the new oem's while you're sitting on a factory bike that eats every breaking bump with 80mph for breakfest without milk is just straight bullshit. Ofc they are more enjoyable cause they are 10 times easier to ride and everbody that hops over easily drops of plenty of time on every damn track without even touching the setup. They're fucking broken and that's it.
It’s a factory bike, the suspension is supposed to do better, its supposed to be faster, it’s supposed to do things an oem can’t do as well, hence why factory bikes exist in the real world. You could say the same about the unrealistic traction of the new oems, there’s positives and negatives for both of the new sets of bikes, he’s just stating what he thinks, not everyone will agree but nobody is forced to watch. I guess when racing this game makes you money and you don’t like the bikes it’s quite disappointing 🤷♂️

Odd how the factory team was able to do it first try

I think there is a flaw in your thinking. Dont you ever say something cant be done.
@@macolincoln7157 I think you have a flaw in what you think is capable from a bunch of dudes that don’t do this as their main job

with the new oems for me it works way better in the corners and with overroatating when i lean forwad and not backwars while like usual

To get the turning to feel good is to run low direct lean

I’m done with the OEM’s they are far to unreliable and aren’t consistent enough, the factory bikes are far superior all around
As a bikes player with almost 3k hours I 100% agree with your take on the oem we learned different than the new players so the new bikes favor newer players and not the long time players I can spin faster laps on a stock piboso bike anymore
Fantic 450 can do some good in shallow whoops even when steep. Best bike i have found so far

finally got to watch a lynda vid in the morning normally dont get the chance 😂😂
Nothing feels as good as the factory bikes imo 🤷♀️
Idk to me factory feel way to plush, rear end doesn't give you any feedback it feels like floating threw everything it get boring after a while

I find the leanhelp 0 helps on these bikes. Still have wonkiness at low speeds but feel great everywhere else
For me when I changed my direct lean it didn’t make the game feel any different it just made the bikes fell better
im liking the fantic atm its really nice
>the bike "rotates around" my head
that's EXACTLY how small-radius turns feel like IRL
Trying running a lower direct lean

New bike mods and tyres are BUGGED. Doesn't even let you ride the new 2024 bikes
U gotta start doing practice on it then race because it be gettin boring jus watchibg someone practice for 20 min and talking
