Her attitude regarding tangible "real" things is refreshing. It rings true somehow. We have too much information now to process. Meditation becomes more importing in the coming decades. Too much change too quickly. Our poor little heads need to breath. Soon I'll be taking up this meditation thing.
She's great! Totally down-to-earth and no bullshit. And she's right: for as pretty as she is, she really IS a man. Not very feminine. I don't mean that as a put-down, though. She's really cool. (So save all of your "I'm going to verbally abuse someone anonymously on the Internet" venom for someone else!)
+savedfaves Agree with you, @savedfaves - She's very feminine, I think. Perhaps not in the cultural way, like, - 'how a woman 'should' behave in order to appear more feminine,' kinda way - but she's still feminine - just in a more genuine way. - I find 'her way' of being feminine so much more pleasant, than the kind of 'femininity' that a lot of women/actresses put on, just to look 'sexy' or something. I find this so much more 'sexy,' since it comes across as more genuine and intelligent.
She's totally right about there are less female directors because less women want to direct films. Is like how most chefs are men or most beauty therapist or makeup artists are women. They choose to.
Alas, most of us would like to rewind the times and go back before digital tech controlled our lives, and listening to her stirs that sentiment, almost envy for a simpler life....but we never will...we won't hit rewind....we've been coopted by the corporate world to be consumer slaves.
She is fucking incredible sweet and beautiful.
Amen
