I had the worst panic attacks as a child. I had gone thru serious trauma and hated being separated from my mom but it was for a good cause. I went to foster care and my foster parents gave me this and eveytime I'd panic this little toy would calm me and help me sleep❤ I am now 14 years old. I miss having this by my side❤

If you wanna order a seahorse for yourself online, make sure you're searching specifically for the 2008 model, the one featured in this video, to make it more likely that you end up with the nostalgic version.

Mine/ my brother’s lasted 9 years but his funeral was in 2020 he stopped working :(, while he was still alive i got him friends in 2018, but i abused the pink and broke the electronic and lost the plush, and i have a giraffe version, i still have the giraffe but gave him to my friend. in 2022 i got one off of amazon but it didn’t last long but i kept the plush, then in 2023 i got a blue one on eBay and another one around my bday but i gave him to my baby cousin, and got another one that was still in the box, i took him out to put batteries and kept the box for display! And then i found the pink one’s plush and found a spare electronic, then gave her to my friend….. AND THAT’S MY LIFE STORY!!! 😩😮😅

Omg, when I was first born, I was given this toy. Now I’m a girl but I got the blue one witch I actually am glad because PINK SUCKS!!!! Anyway.... I had a lot of anxiety growing up, there is this long circle shaped tail on the butt of that doll, and when I would sleep I would tug on it or softly stroke it, and it’s all ripped up because of me doing that as a kid, now I’m twelve and the insides broke, ya know, the robot that when you take it out of the doll it gives you nightmares? Anyways I didn’t know what to do, so I ripped open my claw machine Betty boop doll and put the stuffing inside the doll instead of the robot. I’m twelve and i sleep with this doll every night. It doesn’t play the music I do distinctly remember anymore because duh, stuffing so when I couldn’t sleep I looked up “ sea horse baby doll music sleep relaxing fisher price” and this poped up. Thank god for the internet because right now I’m trying not to cry realizing how much I remember all these songs and am thinking about buying another one and then taking the robot out of it and then putting inside of mine... also, aren’t the bubbles that played in the background so nice? you actually need to be careful when you're purchasing this certain version of the seahorse whenever the batteries die and you go to change them and you see there are three spots where you can put the batteries in stop right there do not change the batteries or else it will overheat there is a safe version with only two batteries so you can change its batteries just a danger

I used to have one of these, but the sound went from very good too. You have to put your ear up to it and you can barely hear it after 10 years of use.

My seahorse is 10 years old, I’ve kept it since, it has broken in some weird ways, but we always fixed it lol, hope it can last for another 10 yeArs😅

Mine/ my brother’s lasted 9 years but his funeral was in 2020 he stopped working :(, while he was still alive i got him friends in 2018, but i abused the pink and broke the electronic and lost the plush, and i have a giraffe version, i still have the giraffe but gave him to my friend. in 2022 i got one off of amazon but it didn’t last long but i kept the plush, then in 2023 i got a blue one on eBay and another one around my bday but i gave him to my baby cousin, and got another one that was still in the box, i took him out to put batteries and kept the box for display! And then i found the pink one’s plush and found a spare electronic, then gave her to my friend….. AND THAT’S MY LIFE STORY!!! 😩😮😅
I am depressed because I had one I still do but since me and my sister share a room and we have stuffed toys like Mickey Mouse teddy bears and I had the seahorse toy since I was a baby so it had memories of was special but then my mom put the seahorse on her bed my sisters and she wouldn't let me get it then she slammed it against the wall on 'accident' and wouldn't turn on

I bought the pink one for my daughter as a newborn. She’s used it everyday since. She’s 8 months old now and even her dad and I need it to sleep now 😂

Omg, when I was first born, I was given this toy. Now I’m a girl but I got the blue one witch I actually am glad because PINK SUCKS!!!! Anyway.... I had a lot of anxiety growing up, there is this long circle shaped tail on the butt of that doll, and when I would sleep I would tug on it or softly stroke it, and it’s all ripped up because of me doing that as a kid, now I’m twelve and the insides broke, ya know, the robot that when you take it out of the doll it gives you nightmares? Anyways I didn’t know what to do, so I ripped open my claw machine Betty boop doll and put the stuffing inside the doll instead of the robot. I’m twelve and i sleep with this doll every night. It doesn’t play the music I do distinctly remember anymore because duh, stuffing so when I couldn’t sleep I looked up “ sea horse baby doll music sleep relaxing fisher price” and this poped up. Thank god for the internet because right now I’m trying not to cry realizing how much I remember all these songs and am thinking about buying another one and then taking the robot out of it and then putting inside of mine... also, aren’t the bubbles that played in the background so nice? Or is it just me???

@Glowing_Shadows yeah it's because they used three battery sockets after 2008 which was too much and it was overheating. Luckily for myself, despite not being born before or during 2008, my cousin, who was born in 2003, was the one who owned the model before I did

you actually need to be careful when you're purchasing this certain version of the seahorse whenever the batteries die and you go to change them and you see there are three spots where you can put the batteries in stop right there do not change the batteries or else it will overheat there is a safe version with only two batteries so you can change its batteries just a danger

I remember i had a pink one and id get scared by thise loud ringtones that id hear at night while trying to sleep and id out its soewker rigjt on my ear. I seear it was the baseball cheer that i heard ot it couldve been my imagination. Or maybe i had reaaaally vivid dreams idk.
I used to have one of these, but the sound went from very good too. You have to put your ear up to it and you can barely hear it after 10 years of use.
