A 3000 mile race from San Francisco to Miami that took place in the Spring of 2003. 150 cars and stars created all kinds of mayhem and chaos over 6 days racing from coast to coast!

The coolest part about watching this and I seen the original cannonball I'm 47 years old the coolest part about watching this was seeing "Ryan Dunn" rest his soul it made this movie or documentary worth watching!

They spotted cops and they slammed the brakes. The cop caught them slowing down to 127 mph. So I guess this is the closest we'll get to confirmation of the old "fastest speeding ticket ever at 242 mph" from Top gear.

I got the DVD of this back in like 2004. 16 years later it pops up on my recommended. I still have the DVD but this is less effort. 😂

Just now seeing this, I live in Tucson and watched everyone arrive at Ventana Canyon, hard to believe it has been almost 20yrs, it was cool to see the old Corvette, Mustang, Grand Torino, and Cadillac running in this, and Vicki Powell is such a treat, sucks that she got the speeding ticket accumulation award in AZ.
The original Gumball Rally made in 75 or there around, should be watched if you love cars or a competitive speed freak. All the cars were cool, but my heart belonged to one in particular. Porsche, Camaro, Ferrari, and Corvette were all decent, but I wanted a seat in the Cobra. There a lot of different cars.
Really fun movie.

oooh i love the old rallies. Today, all good with Shmee and JWW, but it's too nice, too clean, or they don't show us all. Schmee's movies are just a carshow or showing of a concourse de extravagance rather than a Wacky Races style rally. I liked it when it was more like the Burt Reynolds movie, crazy characters, unique private owned cars, no rentals, and wild wild races, i just miss the crazy stuff..
250k for a koenigsegg!!! I hope that guy didn't sell that car after the rally. If he did I'm sure hes still punching holes in his walls sporadically when he thinks about it.

RIP Ryan Dunn. I finally made it to my first Gumball 3000 in 2012, the year after he passed. My friend and I snuck onto the rally in Kansas City, did a little AWD drifting in my Subaru around the Intercontinental Hotel and Plaza, and got let into the driver’s garage with my car.
Does anyone else’s sound keep cutting out ? Or is just me?
Disappointing that they can afford Burt Reynolds but not consistent audio. Sad.....
