Well for Steam, Open "Steam" right click the game "Properties" "Local Files" "Browse Local files" and that it do whatever you wanna do

I can confirm that they do ban you for using re-shade, enbseries or any other graphic related mods. I got my first 1 month ban yesterday after it apparently triggered the Anti-cheat system. So be aware of using those mods during a online season. Should be 100% safe running them on a story mode perspective tho!
It does say not to use any mods online or it will result in a ban..
@GetShaftedBuddy reshade does modify the game file so, it is a mod. A graphic mod.
Thanks man, I was thinking this would be a real pain in the ass but turns out it is very easy. I kinda liked Natural Vision Remastered but got a lot of glitching and drops below 60fps on a 1080ti which doesn't seem worth it to me

Thanks. I had to restart Online when moving to PC. I Modded Story Mode and couldn't get onto Online! This helped a lot.
I've been trying to figure out how to fix my GTA for about a month. Just trial and error over and over and this video guide helped me figure out what was actually wrong. Thanks so much.
I suggest doing the tutorial, and if you're unsure if you've deleted gta 5 main files, go to steam, right click on gta 5, hit properties, go to Local Files, then Verify Integrity of Game Files. It'll replace all missing files, or delete corrupted ones. (This is if you're using the steam version, it also works to do it the way in the tutorial)

works?...coz ma game keeps crushing after i tried to dowload creating own character mood...coz i can't get to play online...idk how to..imma newbae..unlike TS4 GTA doesn't have any mod diagnostic to show me which mod file crashing da game

For steam you need to go to GTA V > Right Click > Properties > Local Files > Verify Intergraty of Game Files

Thanks dude my gta files have been corrupted for months and I couldn’t find a solution to the problem
1. Go to your GTA folder
2. Sort by date
3. Delete all the most recent files that have a date different than your game install date (so you won't miss trainers)
4. Uninstall OpenIV
5. Verify integrity of game files with Steam
6. Done.

I am an idiot I pasted the mods in the GTA 5 folder where is the launcher and the other things. The problem is that I want to delete the mod but IDK which files are from the mod:////(there are a lot of files from the mod)

is it okay to keep custom player models? Like I downloaded a flash suit, and the Hulk model, as well as Iron Man models.
Second question: when you verify cache on steam, will it take long to download the files again, because I have slow internet, and the first time I downloaded GTA 5 it took like 2 days

I have a question, say some sort of file in openiv goes corrupt, and you didn't create a backup. Could you use the strategy of uninstalling openiv and then reinstalling openiv to get rid of corrupt installations/replacements that you used through openiv? (in other words reverting the installations/replacements back to its vanilla state)

My gta v game won't start after i tried downloading redux, I followed all the instructions and it crashes as soon as I try to start it. How would I uninstall the mod?

hey i got a solution :D ill tell you
1. go into your gta files
2. delete dxgi.dll
3. delete all the enb .dll files
4. i deleted installscript just incase
and it all worked for me :D
the redux is deleted but still crashes

if your not sure what you are deleting in the files just search of an image of the default files for gta v

I think I accidentally copied something and pasted on the same location and thought I deleted it all but now openiv says something about the mods folder is in another location do I want to open the folder or copy the file. Also it won’t let me edit the scripts to add add ons etc
So, the documents and files left in your directory, that won’t affect your game? You just need the main files and mod folder out.
Some .dll and very little .asi are used by GTA, so make sure by watching a verification video on it to verify.
When I go to property’s there is no line that says target it just says description and says grand theft auto v
I got all the way through until the -verify part. It had several errors saying that I was missing files, when I looked at the files, I had all the missing files but it persists I'm missing them. How do I fix this?

i need help. I downloaded ragepluginhook and it blocked my mods. I tried to download a lot of mods but they wouldnt work no matter what I did. Ragepluginhook is now stuck in my gtaV even after I deleted all of its files.

bro u can just remove only 1 file and you can play online the file name is dinput8.dll and this method is told by rockstar the owner of thr game
