Have you tried doing Intermittent Fasting? Where you can go a little longer without food to trigger fat burning and then eat all your food later. If your diet is already kinda clean, this is a great addition to your week. This year I lost 17 pounds by simply having a cup of tea instead of eating in the morning. I ofc would eat an early lunch, but by just pushing my first meal a little it allowed my body to tap into my reserves (fat storage), and in the evening I try to avoid snacking, once again I just have a cup of rooibos tea :) Intermittent Fasting is extremely flexible and versatile, so you can make your own system that fits you. It's something I try to do most of the time, and now I'm back to a healthy weight again. If I start having 4 meals a day like my very active boyfriend has, I will gain those 17 pounds back in a few months. I am less active, so I must eat less. Skipping breakfast is a good option for me as we get up at different times I can't enjoy the meal with him anyways. Instead we always have dinner together

Never properly synced with the app. The older versions or the current. So no benefit from all the measurements since can never see them. Withings support gave me a list of fixes that I had already tried. Then simply went quiet. There are cheaper products that might be less accurate but they do sync to their own app and give you the data you expect on the same day. Currently has synced for 3 months +

Probably didn't have to go through the whole set-up process twice but I couldn't find another way. One disappointment though was that the scale only works on the old 2.4 Ghz wifi standard. This means the scale will probably be obsolete soon as the 2.4 Ghz standard is old and congested. I've moved EVERYTHING to the 5Ghz spectrum and now there is a new wifi 6 standard out. That said, I REALLY like the scale so far and most importantly I like the app. It really does a nice job of presenting ALL my Apple Health info. Better than any app so far! I would download the app just for that even if I didn't have the scale! :)

YOU NEED TO UPDATE YOUR REVIEW. In late 2022, someone at Withings/Health Mate thought the app needed upgrading, and in doing so completely wrecked the functionality. My scales no longer talk to my app, and despite uninstalling and reinstalling the app several times under instruction from Withings, disassociating, resetting, rebooting it still failed to work. It used to be a good hardware software marriage, now it's ruined. Your review while current and relevant at the time is no longer that way. If I saw your review and then bought the scales, I'd be disappointed in the scales and angry that you failed to mention the pitfalls of the app update.

We bought one yesterday. My wife is athletic and had a test at our gym with a professional machine. Last night she went ballistic when the Body+ told her she had 24% fat when the gym told her it was 3.5% ! Her water content was WAY down. Today we checked again and now it says 3.5% and water is up to 69% from 52% ! Now it makes sense.
Then we found how to change the Units in the App and found some glitches. Changed Feet to metres but on the profile change it kept saying feet. Then you put the cm figures in by the FEET and your profile says Centimetres ! Finally, we will give it a week to keep trying it out. At one stage it said her Bmi was 3.7 !!!! Skeletal.

TheMrfrodough didn’t watch the video huh? A small electrical current is sent through you, from on foot through your body and out the other foot. Electricity flows through water differently than through other substances, and water makes up differing percentages of fat, bone, and muscle.
